    Yes, I meant musically.

I agree, I found the dialogue to be a little irritating at the beginning, but you get used to it, I suppose. Their bedrooms also looked like Myspace threw up on the walls. Personally, I found the soundtrack to be pretty interesting. For some reason, the movie has this very Wed Anderson-esque feel. Perhaps that might just me, though.

I Am Legend is a piece of crap. Juno is splendiferous.
  4. The Segway would be so much cooler if it, say, picked up garbage while you used it...or mowed the lawn.
  5. I watched Sweeney Todd yesterday, good movie. Surprisingly bloody, but completely Tim Burton. I personally liked it, but the music felt almost out of place. Watched "PS I Love You" tonight, and I figured I'd be fine, even though the trailer made me cry BUCKETS. The movie was just as bad. I could barely pay attention because I was spending too much time trying not to sob. and it's not even that engrossing a story. I just personally found it so heartbreaking.
  6. Jesus Christ, I completely read that as "EAT FECES"
  7. I just got a 30gb iPod Video, and I'm at a loss at where I can find movies/series to download that are "ipod ready". I don't really fancy having to convert tons of episodes... Any good torrent places for something like that? And any good series people would recommend me starting? I'm hoping to use my iPod video while working out... I'm very into Foreign (mostly Asian tho), Sci-Fi, Fantasy, stuff like that. Or perhaps is there any anime people would suggest? Actiony movies? I've been trying to find Death Note in mp4 form, but having no luck :/ Suggestions please and thank you!
  8. Whenever I think of the name "Odette" I think of the animated movie "The Swan Princess", which, yes, is inevitably a children's Swan Lake.
  9. I have no idea why that would be? I live in Vancouver! You're the IT guy, so you'd know better than I about things like this...
  10. Really? I just went to Pandora.com and it started loading up immediately. I was still logged in and everything.
  11. Go to their website. According to their blog, about a few days after they blocked Canada, they were able to add it to the list of "ok" places to work. So, we're fine and dandy now. Personally, I'm absolutely chuffed about it.
  12. So, I'm listening to Pandora now...And it's all pimped out now too. I love how my stations are still there...
  13. You, sir, have just said the exact same thing, word for word, that my ex's dad said when he saw it on Christmas day. You are awesome.
  14. haha I didn't know they were called clam diggers. I would have called them capris lol But yeah, Fanny packs are those 1 giant pocket monstrosities that plagued the early to mid-90's. Belt bags are nice and streamlined, have greater usability and are just plain cute.
  15. No, that's an album to get stoned alone to.
  16. No, I mean a belt bag. Fanny packs are ugly and belong in the 90's. Belt bags are chic.
  17. It's a belt bag! ;) I bought Kevin a new BMX bike to replace the one that got stolen (I think he created a thread about it before I even started coming to the Bored haha)
  18. I got: on a tanktop but in light grey/pink And various Badtz-Badtz/Nyanko plushies, clothes from Joe & Le Chateau, and various chocolates and candies.
  19. I've noticed that I get a bad reaction to fast food places with royalty in their name. (ie. Dairy Queen and Burger King. So much so that I just call it "having a case of the Queens" whenever I get sick from fast food.) TMI?
  20. Their whole family is so completely trailer trash...I hope she names her kid Luanne or Boomhauer...
  21. I have a tiny, 1-gig nano, so all I have on there currently is Barenaked Ladies - Barenaked For The Holidays Daft Punk - Alive 2007 BT - Emotional Technology BT - This Binary Universe
  22. The red on either sides tho, looks a little weird. I'm being bicky. (Bitch-picky!)
  23. Depends on what you're looking for really. As I've already mentioned, BT is primarily a Trance artist. That being said, if you're not familiar with the Trance genre, please don't immediately assume it's that stereotypical shit you think you hear at raves. That being said, he's a pretty House-y kind of Trance, I would suggest going to Hype M, and giving BT a search. Most of his tracks have vocals too, in case you're not interested in vocals in your electronic music. I would also mention he's pretty heavily influenced by breakbeats as well. Tracks I particularly enjoy are "Somnambulist (Simply Being Loved)" "Force of Gravity" and "Dreaming" (which has an awesome remix called The Lucid Edit). The above noted tracks are ones that I feel are a good taste of what he has to offer, Trance/House wise. But if you want to see how varied his tastes are, I would suggest taking a listen to the album "Emotional Technology". Largely a vocal album, if you want more non-vocal stuff, I would suggest his older albums, such as "Movement In Still Life" and "ESCM" (This album contains "Flaming June" which is considered by many, one of the most famous staples of the Trance Genre. If you noticed in Binary Universe, he makes use of his stutter edit a lot, and it's definitely a signature style you'll notice in every track he has. Honestly, if you're more interested in that Ambient sound of "Binary Universe", I would suggest taking a listen to maybe Aphex Twin's "Selected Ambient Works". Good tracks are "Rhubarb" "Donkey Rhubarb" and "Lichen". haha whew! That was long! I'm kind of passionate about my electronic music ;)
  24. haha! I totally saw this on TV once, I can't remember where tho...probably Daily Planet or something...
  25. There is something off about The Joker :/
