  1. This is a little off topic, but does anyone know the name of the album by the Raspberries where the plastic wrap smelt like raspberries when you opened it?
  2. Their live cover of 'Hey Jude' isn't bad.
  3. 1700. ;) At least that guy thinks it's worth celebrating.
  4. Way better than Jimmy Fallon, although that could just be the testosterone talking.
  5. Agreed. ;)
  6. It's really between Loser Anthems and WLR&RR. I chose WLR&RR.
  7. Never heard of that one. I know the band actually broke up during the recording process but, just Dave, never heard of that... Yeah, they were going to replace him with Ryan Dahle, I believe.
  8. Never Let You Go - Third Eye Blind
  9. You check for the scent of fried chicken and listen for Dark Side Of The Moon.
  10. thats fake news. He's great but if i included him i'd have to include Jay Leno & David Letterman too. Not to mention Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity
  11. I've never seen them live, although I have heard great things about their shows. I've listened to some of the live tracks, which sound excellent. I've defenitly got to pick up the new version of their album.
  12. The Used=Yellowcard=Good Charlotte=New Found Glory=any other whiny pop-punk band that can get added to the list.
  13. I wouldn't say so much better as more distinguished, for the most part. The biggest classic rock groups to come from here are probably The Guess Who, Neil Yound, and The Band, whereas Britain has The Who, Beatles, Rolling Stones etc. It's not always the big-name bands who provide inspiration for others. I do feel the same way about Franz Ferdinand.
  14. That's right. He also left while they were making the album, then came back a few days later to finish it.
