  1. I've got a few on my "To Buy" list at the moment. The last cd's I bought were a Cuban traditional music cd and "The Best Of Clifford Brown".
  2. I listen to classical when I'm studying in my room, and I listen to acoustic/singer-songwriter stuff when I'm having trouble doing my homework. But I pretty much listen everywhere, all the time.
  3. Supersized meals are the devil.
  4. Satan: "Christians, this line here, please. Yes, I'm sorry, but the Jews were right."
  5. I think you're referring to a small, yet vocal minority. My church is nothing like that. I enjoy being in the United Church, actually. It's very open and tolerant, and I feel comfortable sitting there on Sunday mornings.
  6. I got a letter in the mail. It had some white powder in it that made my insides burn.
  7. I suppose the Pixies count as 80's, eh?
  8. Hell, lots of albums from the 70's weren't much longer than 45 minutes.
  9. I thought that California was more moderate than that...
  10. Heh, that's what I'd like to know.
  11. Well, I'm not all that sureon the details, I'll admit, although the articles I have read leave me with doubts about how solid the prosecution was.
  12. There was a little blurb in the paper a while back, one of those little articles of about 100 or so words. The headline? 45 Burned To Death In Uganda. This rebel group, the LRA had raided a small village, where they hacked everyone they could find to bits, and then killed everyone else by setting everything on fire. The article right underneath it was something about a guy who won a lottery.
  13. I didn't really follow the trial at all, but apparently there weren't any witnesses that could easily declare that he killed Laci, a murder weapon was never found, and the evidence was all circumstantial. That doesn't sound like the requirements needed to take a man's life, much less put him in jail in the first place. Secondly, why the hell was he charged with the murder of a fetus? It's not a person, so why does it get the same rights as one? Could someone please explain this? And lastly, those idiot jurors, making comments like, "he should have been the one to protect baby Connor because he was the baby's daddy" need some sense knocked into them. A statement like that is just too stupid to describe.
  14. The live 'Blue Skies' that's in the store was a dissapointment for me. Not nearly as good as the one they played here in June. The cover of Can't Explain is also missing a verse, I think.
