  1. I've got that reading, too. It's not the whole thing, if you're downloading the same one I've got.
  2. 'Round About Midnight - Thelonius Monk
  3. Ex-Pats - Won't Get Fooled Again (well, duh.) Fell In Love With A Bad Idea - Blow At High Dough by Tragically Hip That's about it for specific songs. The main influences of the record all seem to be from the early 70's/late 60's period, which would effectively predate the grunge movement, which nowadays would seem a good thing.
  4. Will the real Scot please stand up?
  5. Jumpin' At The Woodside - Count Basie Orchestra
  6. The Man Who Sold The World - David Bowie
  7. Please, everyone, a moment of silence for our dear friend, this thread.
  8. Lousy ghosts in the machine.
  9. I agree, mainly because it sounds like my name.
  10. Does anyone know if there's any kicking around anywhere? It's pretty unlikely, but I think they'd be interesting to hear.
  11. I'm just being sarcastic.
  12. All the same, how did you get a "fuck off" out of his reply?
  13. There's a reason this is in the 'Debate' forum, though.
  14. New Empire Blues - International Noise Conspiracy
  15. You don't deliver, he'll file a grievance with the union.
  16. ;) Ever listen to the Extra Glenns? Mudvayne
  17. That's interesting. I've never noticed that I think in English, because I've always assumed that since I talk, read, and write English I think in English as well. Although I do take a bit of issue with not having to worry about bilingualism. If SWH is correct (which to me seems pretty likely), then languages are central components of cultures, and to have only one uniform language would aid in the eradication of virtually every culture on earth. Yeah, I'm a pessimist sometimes. ;) As well, while "thinking is it's own language" is an interesting theory, I don't agree with it. I believe you need some sort of language to go into your mind first before you're able to form thoughts, be they written words, spoken words, or even body language. They're all forms of communication, which is a primary role of language.
