If you let practically any party have the kind of power the Liberals had for as long as they had it, I'm fairly certain they would become corrupt/drunk with power, too. Would a Conservative minority be a viable alternative? Most people here wouldn't vote for them because Harper...well..."bend me over the table, Georgie!", but if he was accountable to Parliament as a minority leader then would it be as bad as everyone says a Conservative government would be? Just a thought. Abortions: Personally, I'm never EVER going to have one.

You should check out Series Seven: The Contenders. It's done in the format of a reality show where they choose 6 or 7 people at random, give them guns, and have them kill each other off. The final survivor moves on to the next round. It's pretty sweet.

I ref basketball on weekends, and I know exactly what you're talking about. It's funny how the younger players are, by and large, far more mature than the older players. I've never had a problem with under 12, but all the older kids are where the shit comes from. This is also partially why I no longer play basketball.

If you like them, then take a listen to the Extra Glenns, a John Darnielle side project from a couple years ago. It's pretty good stuff. Also, Richmond Fontaine are pretty good for anyone who like good, dark alternative country.
