Political correctness aside, yes North America has a Super-Size me culture...everything has to be bigger. No one wants to be overweight...it's a culture built on urge and impulse....I know after a bad day, I want to load up on comfort food. We need to look at the reasons why we eat so much, and combat the issue there...no matter what name you call someone, it's an internal issue that needs to be addressed.

Okay, after given it some thought...and the fact that there is no escaping this story. I learned a few things. Let's face she wasn't a bad person, she was famous, and she died way to young. She experienced great tragedy, and great joy, not unlike the rest of us. What I learned, was that she did make a large number of appearances for charity. She spent time visiting military bases, and she was a big supporter of PETA. So on a lot of levels she did contribute to the greater good. I happen to know quite a few guys who were tremendous fans, and a few women too... I do believe there are bigger stories in the world right now, the tragedy in Darfur, chief among them. I think the story of her death is important. I take issue with the the more tabloid related stories...her daughter's father, etc...those things should go behind closed doors...and should be none of our business...the child deserves better than this. That's my 2 cents worth.
