my roomie bought me 'choke' by chuck palahniuk for xmas, then got so excited he gave it to me early. i'm halfway done and gotta say... it's kind of boring and irritating. he's got great diction and style, but he goes off on way too many tangents and it seems like he just wants to prove how raunchy he can be. i wasn't crazy about fight club, either. they're both too heterosexual-white-male-will-inherit-the-earth. and yet in spite of that, he's a great writer. some of the lines he writes make me envious that i didn't write them. too bad he's using his gift for evil.

i had a friend who worked for a radio station--CKCU here in ottawa, and they were allowed to play any song they wanted, single or not...

i only asked because i decided not to wear my matt good toque in conjunction with my WLRRR shirt today for fear of seeming like a dork.

i say no. my reasoning is that people get all decked out in like, nike shoes and shirt and hats or whatever and no one thinks they're dorks. at least when you're decked out in band gear, you're promoting something you believe in. unless you believe in korean sweat shops, anyway.

dude, that's just my opinion... you don't have to care! lol. but personally, i hate that the first thing that people think about when they hear matthew good is HTB or apparitions and not, say, avalanche or born to kill. HTB is too juvenile for me, and apparitions is nice but there are much better songs.

i've gone to work drunk once. just to see what it was like. and let me tell you, i'm never doing it again... ;) but at least it made me appreciate how hard my job is.

pssh. don't listen to these people. drinking alone is cool! escpecially if you've got some video games to play. do what you want, not what's 'socially acceptable'. only make a change if you feel like drinking is actually making a negative impact on your life, or if someone close to you is complaining. teh end.

i voted 'because he had a bad rep', but i think it also has to do with the... poor selection of singles. most of my friends laugh at me for liking matt because hello time bomb was his claim to fame.

really? naomi watts? i mean, i really like 90% of her roles which is why i think she's cool, but hot? why do all the boys like her so much. i think she's kind of plain looking.

i didn't mean that is was JUST a movie about an ape... i just remember that when donnie darko came out, everyone thought i was a retard for wanting to see it because 'a movie about a giant killer rabbit is stupid'. so i'm just like... how is a giant ape any better? is it because it was made by the guy who did LOTR?
