I love you. Faith no More - 2/10 Nothing stellar or ground breaking and besides, early 90s late 80s is, in general, bad. Queens of the Stone Age. I should kick your ass--Mike Patton would have done the same, you little twit. I haven't heard enough Peter Gabriel or Genesis for that matter to give a fair opinion so I'll give an ill-opinionated 6/10 mark. My Bloody Valentine. -
The 'Leave me Alone' When it comes to music, you are 69% Appreciator and 56% Consumer... So what if you like what you like. At least you're honest about it. People that say you have bad taste in music, probably just have different tastes than you. You know and appreciate enough to like what you like... so just tell them all to back off and stop touching your radio... and if it really bothers them, then THEY can drive. Some of these questions were useless though. I'm proud that I can't name the theme songs for Super Mario Bros and Star Wars. Also, I had to choose The Killers over "Led Zepplin".

Favorite Album Covers, In Order

Honestly, who cares? Actually, on a side note, when I bought Raygun, it took me a year to realize what was on the front cover--guess I really wasn't observant. -
Where And When Did You First Hear Matthewgood

EIS debuting on the MM Countdown at #27 I think is where I'm at. Though, I probably heard Symbolistic White Walls on the radio beforehand, I can't remember. My brother's friend actually sold me his copy of Underdogs in 98 just when Indestructible was declining popular-wise, oh yes, for $2! I guess he hated them. A year later, I bought BM the day it hit the shelves and I finally picked up Ghetto a few months later. A side note, I was actually disappointed when I bought Loser Anthems the day it came out. I only really liked Flashdance II and My Life As A Circus Clown at the time--go figure. -

Looks like they've gone even more acoustic. -
Matthew Good Band were good as OPENERS for I Mother Earth in 1999.

All Together. No contest. Well, maybe Dusk is the only one that remotely competes. But All Together was better than some of the songs on the AOB [which takes a lot]. Black Helicopter (though, it is unique!) is absolutely nothing in comparison. All Together.

God yes, Grace is more than likely my favourite album of 1994. Sketches For My Sweetheart, The Drunk had so much fucking potential it wasn't even funny. The recordings for Disc 1 were supposedly going to be scrapped because of his perfectionist ways which is hard to believe after hearing the quality. Disc 2 were mostly demos from his house and wow, he really had something magical up his sleeve. Mystery White Boy is an excellent representation on how brilliant of a performer he was. Highly recommended. -
The audio levels for The Fine Art Of Falling Apart are so poor, maybe that's what's keeping it lower than the other two mega tracks on the album.

George talked to him for barely even 5 seconds. Melissa Auf der Maur was also there as well.

Foo Fighters

I can't remember it. I'll take a listen and tell you what I think about it. The only good song I remember off One By One is Low. An entire album can't have one good song--unless it's a soundtrack or something. -

Well I would argue that "Come Back" off One By One is better than Everlong. -
Let's just turn this into 'The Rat Who Would Be King is the greatest Matthew Good (band) song thread'. Because it really, really is.

Matt's Greatest Lyrical Performance?
Shortcut To Moncton replied to dude1234's topic in Matthew Good
It really could be almost any of them due to Matt's calibre. Other artists wouldn't have nearly as many competing.
