I wish he hadn't have shortened the head light/morning glow part. It is good though.

I don't mind HTB on rooms. I still tihnk it's the worst on there but I like it; I like the original version better. And like someone else said, I do listen to a lot of other songs more on BM, but HTB is still one of the songs I always listen to when I put BM in. With NAFL, I like both versions equally, I think. Maybe WLRRR version a bit more; both are pretty good. Those are the two worst songs off of Rooms though, in my opinion. The rooms version of Tripoli is awesome. Tripoli always was awesome. Tripoli always will be awesome. Tripoli is an awesome song.

I'm pretty sure it's "back the cause". It's pretty clear that he says the word "back" in the Halifax version. -

1. Avalanche 2. Fated 3. Near Fantastica (Extremely hard choice; sorry to see Weapon go if it does) 4. While We Were Hunting Rabbits 5. Running For Home (This is another really close one for me) -
For me the ipod isn't just about music though. I work at a hotel (in sales) which is a 45 minute bus ride from my home. The ipod is awesome for me: As a music lover it's great because it's compact (fits in my inside jacket pocket), holds a lot of music, and doesn't skip simply becuse it's an mp3 player. It also has a calendar so I can schedule all of my appointments with clients that I work with (I book conference rooms). It stores any necessary contact information (both personal and business). It also features a world clock so I know exactly what time it is if I'm dealing with clients overseas or on the other side of Canada. I have an alarm sound programmed to play to wake me before my stop when I have to come in to work very early (Being to work at 7am means getting up at 4:30 for me); I can catch an extra 30 minutes of sleep on the bus. I can also save all of my contracts and important documents that I'm working on if it will take me 20 minutes to finish them and the bus leaves in 15. That way I don't wait an hour to get the next bus but I finish all of my days work by finishing off little extras for 30 minutes or so at home.

What are 2 the latest ones? I would have picked "Strange Days". What is this video for "Empty Road"? Is this actually music videos or just video footage of any kind somehow related to the song?

Minimum wage in NS is $6.50. I live with my girlfriend in a one bedroom apartment. Being a couple is definitely a kickass money saver. $300 rent $225 food $40 phone, internet $15 power $60 bus pass That's my half of the monthly bills. I book conference rooms in a hotel for $10 per hour so my bills are easily paid for with one pay but it would kinda suck if I were paying all on my own. Edit: Also, minimum wage drives up cost of living. I hate inflation, raising minimum wage seems like it only hurts the middle class; lower class doesn't seem to get ahead at all.

Matt's New Stuff Is Far Too Underated
Monochrome Rainbow replied to driftinginfluence's topic in Matthew Good
That's what I was gonna say. I think (generally; there are some exceptions) lyrically MGB era songs surpass MG. Specifically BM and AOB. Edit: Damn I should have read the entire thread. Way to seem like a jackass and contribute nothing. Go me. -

1. Running For Home 2. Born To Kill (Barely. Love the orchestra.) 3. While We Were Hunting Rabbits 4. Apparitions 5. She's Got A New Disguise (Neither of these songs should have made it this far. Although SGAND is better than everything it has been paired against thus far; it just got lucky to be paired against what it has. MCG should've been out in the first round in my opinion; both ETS and MFHW are better.) -
Can Someone Please Hook Me Up With...
Monochrome Rainbow replied to Prometheon's topic in Marketplace
Although I still like the longer version more, the shortened version of Near Fantastica is actually a REALLY GOOD tune. It actually was supposed to be the album version but Matt had some extra studio time so he decided to extend the song. At first it was titled the "Near Fantastica (Womp 'Em & Silly Bird Remix)" and was going to be released on HOSAM or another 3-5 song disc similar to Lo-Fi, but everyone liked that version so much they put it right on the album. Wow, the things you remember... I only planned to say the shortened version was still a pretty good tune. -
