I can forsee this post getting locked, moved, or outright deleted by the admins, but I'll risk it all... I've been completely out of the loop for a little less than a year, now...last time I checked, Matt and Jen had just got back from Europe *cough*...I know, pathetic. Anyway, would anybody be so kind as to update me on the goings-on in the world of Matthew Good? Some things I've heard so far: -new album info (tracklistings, etc.) -new band members/relationships -taking a new musical direction -the divorce (when, why, how, etc.) -nervous breakdowns -moving from Vancouver -anything else...? If anyone would show the tiniest bit of sympathy/patience to shed some light on one or more of these topics (you could just send me links), I'd be incredibly greatful...I'm sure there's a lot more I don't know about, so anything would be fantastic. Okay, maybe this was brought to the attention to the board before, but where is the "While We Were Hunting Rabbits" video that's supposedly on the DVD? I was pretty disappointed in not seeing it, as it was probably the only reason I got it in the first place...and I'd be even more disappointed to learn if it was only found in a select few CDs (say, the first 300 or something) Can anyone help me out with this? Thanks...

Oop, never mind, got it working - crisis averted.

Sorry, I should have specified. I'm using my computer to play it...and I use a default "Dell Media Experience" program to play it, but when I do, it all comes out garbled and shitty (i.e. it doesn't play). I'll try downloading PowerDVD, though - thanks.

Hey guys, I just bought In A Coma today (I know, sad), and I just popped in the DVD, but nothing's playing...I tried to search in the CD itself for a program, but with no luck. Anyone else having this same problem? Thanks.

Hey guys... I just wanted to bring something to the attention to the Bored which might be of some interest. The other day, at precisely 4:30 am, I awoke to the sounds of Flashdance II out of my clock radio. Does this strike anyone else as being odd? It just seemed incredibly strange to me that the station would play a non-single... let alone an actual B-side. Actually, I think the stranger thing is that at the same time, every morning like clockwork, a Matt Good (Band) single is played - and it seems to be different every time. (Hm, sorry, that should've been Flashdance II.)

I hate to see them constantly labelled as "emo" and compared to Dashboard and Brand New... Apparently everybody's got something against them. I recently checked out a few of their songs despite the incredible opposition, and I discovered that they're pretty good. I'm not usually one for "the scene," and I don't follow a typical indie lifestyle (whose mantra seems to be along the lines of the more esoteric and obscure your references of fashion and music lie, the proportionally cooler you become). I like my fair share of mainstream tastes (as much as I hate to admit it), but for some reason, Bright Eyes just sounds like a great group producing really excellent music. Comments, questions, flamings?

Can anyone recite or has a copy of one of Matt's earlier posts this year that he erased? It's titled (or just begins with): "This is for the cool cats." (I'm sure you'd remember it for it's freaky image of the vomiting clown.) It was pretty much him at his pinnacle of cynicism and I'd love to get a copy of it.
