They're such pretentious, self-righteous has-beens. The only interviews I hate reading more are Lil Wayne interviews. -

Ryan Adams - Cardinology... Pretty awesome. -
If you guys haven't heard of this guy, then you're missing out. He's doing solo work now, but he was in Failure, On, and Year of the Rabbit. Check out his 2007 release - Secrets of the Lost Satellite. Best songs - Stuck On You, Write Your Story, Up Or Down... man, so many great songs.

I read an interview in Blender Magazine with Brandon Flowers where they asked him questions about when musicians outlive their relevance. He was so pompous in his replies. He acted like his music is what the world has been waiting for. As if chaos would ensue and hell would break loose if he didn't keep the world in order with his talents. Three pages later Blender reviews the new album. 2 out of 5 stars. They pretty much called it shit. On the ego scale that guy is right up there with Jared Leto. I would love to see the two of them charge at each other at full speed to meet their demise in a giant explosion of self-perceived awesome. -
I don't even remember what song I covered for this thing anymore.

Yeah, this whole project is 20 pages of fail.

Don't forget Adobe Audition.

Sorry, I guess I just got lost in the second paragraph. For the life of me I can't figure out what HP means (I work for a systems integration company so HP automatically means Hewlett Packard to me).

Where are these being uploaded?

Is this a question?

Geoff are you playing with a band called Edison now?

I have some friends who spend a lot of time complaining about poor health, depression, despair, etc... It's really hard to listen to them.

Eh, she's heard me play a thousand times.

I believe the "punters" you speak of are my wife and the other guitar player's wife.

Off-topic alert. Crusader, you officially have more NF$ than I have in my 401k in real dollars. Thanks America!

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. I really appreciate it.

I already posted this, but I felt like it was threadjacking the Canadian Idol post. I played a couple Matthew Good songs at Iota last night where he played earlier this March on the US acoustic tour. So this is pretty fresh. It happened last night. Feedback is welcome. I realize I rushed the tempo a little, and the mic was a little low in the beginning. Too many beers between me and the sound guy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2-zuYhugogk

You guys are tearing this kid apart, so I'm reluctant to do this. But here I am at a club in Arlington, VA last night playing Born Losers. I'll get it right out of the way, the mic levels weren't adjusted until mid-way through the song and 5 beers will affect your tempo. With that, here it is. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2-zuYhugogk

I really wish I could find one of the old Avalanche bumper stickers...

He did Hurt. He covered Cash's version. I know this because I have covered Matt's version of Cash's version of NIN's hurt. observe : http://www.myspace.com/kpiercemusic
