  1. haha yeah shoreline takes it everytime. well most times.
  2. haaha i was JUST talking about this guy last night. my brother used to work at Canadian tire part-time and some girl came up to him recently and told him he hated Canadian tire because of the commercial guy. his wife kind of pisses me off too though.
  3. what about fated, if you want to talk safe-children. a painting of jesus wandering, for a dark lord you know he's seen you naked a millions times. okay maybe that's not bad, but the general "i long to be dead" theme? questionable?
  4. actually that's never happened to me. yeah i knew what you were talking about mrs. jesus
  5. i can't read piano tabs man those things are dumb. it's really easy to teach yourself how to play some simple piano, there's like 4 chords in this song. someday i'm going to sit down and figure out dusk.
  6. Sort of a Protest Song Everything is Automatic Strange Days Workers Sing A Song of Mass Production you're killing me here...
  7. ceciliaa you're breaking my heart. yeah i like them fine, my mom has their stuff but other than what she has i've never looked for more.
  8. just seemed out of place, i think you're working backwards here not to say that you'll have backwards effects. hope it works then? why don't you just get him off fifty and call it a victory. welcome home is a good song.
  9. All those yesterdays- Pearl Jam
  10. they played dundas square this summer for free but my friend told me about it the day before and i couldn't make it, my other friend watched them from some roof top haha. man, i wish i could ride a ferry with them i just like how they work you know. and the arts and crafts label in general, it's hard to get your head around but i guess you just have to not ask too many qusetions. 17 person band, but none of them are indefinitely permanent. the new album is amazing, i love those songs too but the only track i haven't completely warmed up to is Ibi Dreams of Pavement. i love that k-os is on there..makes me laugh and is so perfect somehow. i'm loving superconnected.
  11. this is some deep shit indeed R. Kelly.
  12. wow i thought it was a joke with the space rock there are so many genres it's hard to keep up. not to burst your space bubble, but i don't really like the name. why don't you pick a constellation instead. like cassiopeia. that's a kickass name. CASSIOPEIA i think i'll name my kid that.
  13. typical but i have to go with TEN. come on, it's seriously killer. VS. is good too and Riot act.
  14. easing him off gently with that Nas?
  15. whoah whoah. i have 5, 000 to fill mine (which i broke) and the white ones are so much sexier. anyways, some good songs check out "Looks Just Like The Sun" and the new broken social scene. damm that x it's so close to the z key.
  16. I remember a hit they had a couple years ago, they played it on my mom's radio station a lot. as in easy rock. it wasn't a bad song though if i remember correctly.
  17. Dollars & Cents- Radiohead
  18. I know not many people have heard in depth broken social scene, but let me tell you they're pretty amazing and apparently better live. Is anyone going to be at the concert January 21st at the Kool Haus? I'm really digging their new album, a lot of reviews said it was too all over the place and not living up to You Forgot It In People, as well as the words being lost but i think that on the new album the words are maybe less important than what's being made as a whole. Thoughts on the new album/concert.
  19. i've come to appreciate Avalanche as an album immensely, but some of my favourite tracks are still on Beautiful Midnight, AOB, Lo fi, Underdogs and i just named about all of them didn't i.
  20. 1)Avalanche 2)Fated 3)Near Fantastica 4)Born To Kill 5)Prime Time Deliverance
  21. the drug thing makes sense, but whenever i hear him say that i always think dimed like faded and cynical.
  22. i don't know if you found it in the archive, i have the actual piano music if you want it email me [email protected] it's hautning, repetitive and so easy to learn i suppose you could say it's great for a little keyboard.
  23. as you can see you're going to have a hard time finding a swear-free album, but i think the LEAST swearing if any is on Last of the Ghetto Astronauts. i understand about playing it in a record store but he swears so beautifully. it's part of who he is.
  24. yes but i did not make it myself, i'm too lazy for that. Are you as cold right now as I am?
