  1. Raymi said he refused to do Venom as a villain, but I guess the whole appeasing Hollywood did him in...I heard he didn't have much say. Regardless, I think having Venom as a villain is retarded. He's too much like Spiderman in a lot of ways. Yeah, there's a lot of crap you could do with it, but it just seems so pointless to develop another 'spider' based character. They could've done something with the first clone saga (the one that didn't end up with the reboot, Carrion and Jackal would've been fucking sweet in an expanded role), the Lizard, Electro would've been a lot cooler than fucking Sandman...
  2. the strangest one of all
  3. or 'my life as a circus clown'
  4. SPOILER SPOILER (Highlight to View) he jumps off the roof of the box factory where he works at trying to commit suicide...oops, did i let that slip?
  5. www.myspace.com/matthewgood it should still be up there, beautiful song...
  6. It kind of sounds like he just through it together last minute to play this show with, IMHO. Seems really rushed for something he'd write, oh well. And of course it's going to sound like one of his other songs, the man only has like 1 strum pattern the most of the time. I think 'Rooms' was the first accoustic guitar driven thing he's done that didn't have the same strumming technique.
  7. Art is also about PERSONAL expression, PERSONAL feeling, and PERSONAL styles...it's great to be enamored in what someone creates. But, if you're looking to further yourself in art, one would think you'd try to find your own technique and what works for you. An artist like Matt comes along once in a great while, people like him lag off when their lives get straightened out, he's just worked very hard at keeping up with something that has payed off greatly for him. And when you do meet him and thank him, you can tell how grateful and appreciative he is that you think the way you do about his work, it's what I think in some small sense of it all keeps him doing some of what he does. Knowing that you may have helped even one person become someone better has to have some effect on what someone creates. To be more like Matt, you may want to get a supermodel wife whose 10 years your senior, 3 small dogs, and try to become a manic-depressive social outcast, that may be your start.
  8. are you for real?! well, since these other people aren't our spouses or friends...fuck'em why should someone whose waited an hour or more give up their spot to someone who waited 5 minutes? that's so assinine for you to even say. if you can't plan your day accordingly, it's not the other concert goers problem
  9. suburbia 'maybe if i was into men, you would be mine'
  10. haha. the ladies and gentlemen are rather good...mobile opened up for matt over the summer. LAG will be worth watching.
  11. i have the right, i payed money for matt good...not dipshit band #2... i consider myself a matt good fans for my own reasons, not for the reasons that someone with a stupid username lists...and i don't need beer to mock bands, i can do that sober. i should've drunk until i passed out so i could've totally missed that musical nightmare
  12. ^^^ by 'immature drunk assholes' you mean really fucking funny towards a shit band the second band was terrible
  13. i dig the idea of using reoccuring ideas/thoughts, aslong as it isn't overdone or cheesy i enjoy matt's useage/theme of sleeping
  14. I was expecting so much fucking better from them when I heard this album, which is a huge surprise. Atleast their other shit was funny/clever. and to the one dude...Wawa is a grocery store chain in the mid-atlantic states...w/e.
  15. you're all forgeting 'Mobile' at the bottom of your lists...they opened up for him on this summer's past mini-tour... total rip off
  16. i touched the man you killed ;)
  17. well, he can change it if he's just trying to get a rise out of everyone...which even then he seems to be doing a shitty job of
  18. better that than that shit band that i had to put up with in st.catherines and bala
  19. born to kill-the way he sings the second 'more than the less...', and the intensity into the sudden stop tripoli workers... the rat who would be king i miss new wave suburbia avalanche house of smoke and mirrors under the influence, when he sings 'used too', the way he sings to is amazing
  20. I first heard BM as the American relase...Deep Six immediately had in a sense ruined some of the progression of the album for me. I bought a Canadian copy eventually and I had a new respect for it. I personally enjoy AoB overall, you can actually tell which songs came and which he struggled with. I see parts of Underdogs how a lot of people see Aob, kind of processed and rushed. Not that it takes anything away from the records, just an opinion.
  21. I live about across Lake Erie from Ontario and there's a radio station out of London that plays Matt. I heard Apparitions and went nuts trying to find out who it was and later on they played it again and it's all made sense since then.
  22. there's still sooo many places they can go...
  23. it'd be sweet if this was the accoustic tour he always talked about wanting to do...but again, if the band is coming along... we shall see
