it was a neat shirt, but the 'always punk' part was lame. seeing as they have "love songs" and that doesnt fall under the definition of 'punk'. and they suck live.

fugazi is emo? that's funny because i'm sure that that isn't what they were called like 15 years ago... Alright, what do you want to call them? Post-hardcore? No difference since "true emo" falls along the same category as the independent hardcore scene. fugazi was the first emo band. which is cool, because front-man Ian Mackaye from Minor Threat is in that band. and fugazi is awesome. emo has changed so much since then. what was once great, is now some watered down shit.

ahh the scensters... this evening i went downtown to meet some people at a local bar/venue. the show before i got there was an emo show, so everyone came out looking the same. when i finally found the people i was looking for, we stood around the parking lot. then one emo kid punched another emo kid and he fell to the ground, knocked out. then a car came wanted to go where the knocked out emo kid was, so the rest of the scensters picked him up, he threw up, and then they all went to a different part of the parking lot. they the guy who was knocked out started laughing, and asked the guy to punch him again. then a water line exploded and water shot up 20 ft in the air. and i laughed and laughed. ;)

this show was great.

it had sid's fingerprints on it, but it was his knife. they also found a suicide note from nancy to her younger brother. nancy suffered from many physcological problems before she even met sid or became involved with drugs. nancy spungen's whole life is extremely interesting. as was sids. i am a big ... (fan doesn't seem like the right word, but i'll use it anyways)... fan of them both.

i am not a fan of boys night out at all. i have seen them live and they were terribly boring.
