I really hate seeing Load Me Up live. Timebomb isn't as bad when he has the slow extended ending, but I am so tired of those songs. I understand why he has to play them but I mean I am pretty sure most of his fanbase is pretty hardcore and could do without those songs.

He did that exact thing with the In a Coma tour, which why I was shocked last tour when he didn't.

Songs That Are Better Live Than On The Album.

Yeah he demoed five songs from Avalanche: Double Life, Weapon, IAWCC, Pledge and Song for the Girl. I can put them up this weekend when I have access to a non-work computer. -

Pledge, just because it was reworked from this mellow number to full on rock. I also rank Pledge as a song in my top 3 Matt Good tunes. From them demo, to the album version, to the reworked live version, to the acoustic arrangement, it is an absolute perfect song. And yes I have a copy of all, for those interested. I really should do a Pledge retrospective in the Lounge. -

The best closer ever was Born to Kill. Nothing has even come close, with the exception of Giant when it ran into Symbloistic White Walls(extended). -
Man this thread has legs and I think we are really start to reach...............Timebomb, I mean it has Todd Kerns. Automatic win. Battle of the same drum track: Long Way Down vs. Comfortable Criminals

Yeah, at least with Matt's albums they all bring something entirley different to the table.

Fated. It is one of his best songs, period. Battle of the live versions: SWW Extended Ending vs Suburbia Extended Ending

I hope Matt makes all these rarities available for purchase on iTunes. I have been reduced to using the work computer only these days and they have denied access to all sound output. ;)

LOTGA is a great album. I would rather listen to it anyday over WLRRR.

Never knew Matt Good was on Super Drop, that's totally awesome. It is just too bad that he only sings the second line in 1999, and very quietly in the chorus.

I personally think the Generation X-Wing is the best bass work Geoff has done: But to answer the question, SWW, easily. Two acoustic b-sides(apologies if they were in the the thread already) If I Was A Tidal Wave vs. Can't Get Shot Sidenote: For the Double life poster, that just may be my favourite solo in a Matt Good tune.

The first Viva Pinata is probably my most played 360 game. So much fun. Although when you got to the real high levels it became kinda boring and it was really tedious to attract the high end pinatas. I got the Dragonache, but I got fed up with wating for the Chippopotumus and the Roario(Lion) to stay in my garden. Loved whacking my employess and those dame sour pinatas though. I really want to try the second one. I am assuming I will like it right?

Super Metroid is one of the best games of all time, some would argue it's number one. I didn't like the demo either but I gave the full game a try, and based on the merits of a $15 Xbox Arcade level it is pretty damn good. I would say it goes Super Metroid, with Symphony of the Night being a close second and then Shadow Complex a distant third in the genre of Metroid-Vania(I didn't include the redux of Metroid 1 or Fusion as I only picked one Metroid game).

Put Out Your Lights And Fell in Love with a Bad idea are two dirty little numbers. Great anthem rock. Also Blue Skies and We're So Heavy in my opinion are two of the better songs Matt has ever wrote. But I will say as a whole it is my least favourite album, which isn't to say that is not good. I would give it a 3 or a 3.5. Poor Man's Grey just really irks me. I think it is the only MGB/Matt Good song I dislike.

Why am I not suprised you think that,I mean you love FF7. No offence, but that game is easily the most overrated videogame of all time. Not too mention the most over praised game in the series. It totally didn't hold up either like the 8-Bit Final Fantasys still do today. I will give you this though, it is light years better the FF8 and FF10, which are two shitty pieces of software.

RE5 is terrible. I really can't believe how they fucked up the pedigree laid before them with RE4. The story is horrendous, the level design is piss poor(I mean a horror game in the daylight?!?!? wtf!),the enemy and Sheva A.I are god awful. And don't even get me started on the controls. Side note: Batman and Shadow Complex are fantastic.

I won tickets to the Winnipeg show and am on the floor for the first Vancouver show. I am going to the second show there too, but am just waiting on a buddy to get the tickets. I would of went to the Massey Hall show as well, when I planned to visit my best friend, who goes to Ryerson, but it is a little too close to X-mas for my liking.

Ahahaah that post was moved. It was a reference to the catch a preadator comment earlier in the thread. Had nothing to do with your post. I am a nice boy ahahahahah.
