i'm not saying they don't matter at all, but it's also not intentional that they're getting killed.

 

How is it unintentional if we know it happens and yet do nothing to prevent it? That's bullshit.

 

What it comes down to is this: animals are dying and suffering as a direct result of our diets, whether we are vegetarian or not. The size of the animal may differ, but using that logic, we should be more hasty to kill a person than an elephant.
