Word of warning: The pill is not 100% effective. A variety of factors including, but not limited to, stress, illness, other medications, can and will cause it to fail. I know a girl who had it fail.

 

The hard part is (no pun), that with some of the risk factors, you might not know you've had reduced protection until after the fact.

 

Sex, regardless of protection, always carries the risk of pregnancy so if your doing it, then you should be aware of that consequence.
