Has anyone heard of them? I have a few songs on my mp3 player. They're alright. It's mostly soft-moderate rock. The only downside is that he kinda sounds like a girl...Yeah.

I'm a big fan of David Usher. Great lyricist and his acoustic-style is quite nice. Some good songs:

"St. Lawrence River", "Tomorrow Comes", "Dogs", and "See you Fall"

David Usher is a God, even when he covered Fast Car. He's also a solo project by the way, he's the lead singer from Moist in case you didn't know (amazingly, not many I come across do.)

I thought that was a well known fact. Obviously not seeing that he was refered to as a "They". Oh well. I think he's great, has some really solid songs. I'm more familiar with the singles; Black Black Heart, Love Will Save The Day...

Actually Moist > David Usher. They had such better songs.

I love David Usher. He's awesome.

Moist was an awesome band.

David Usher knows how to put on a good show. I saw him at Open Air last year in victoria.

Yeah, David Usher rocks. He has a lot of shitty songs, but a lot of great ones as well. St Lawrence River (Live), Forestfire, Numb and Tomorrow Comes are great songs. Also, most of the Mornign Orbit album is great; I'm a big fan of Joy in Small Places.

David Usher kicks ass. I've seen him live a few times. All of his albums are pretty well done; I can't wait for some new material.

Moist > David Usher for sure though. Although sometimes I'm just in the mood for his solo stuff.

I like most of his music, If god had curves is a good relaxing cd.

David Usher's cool but I wasn't too big on his latest cd, that's why I never bought it. I definitely like his rock side more than the mellow electronica side. That said, he's got some great songs, and so did Moist.

Moist was such an awesome live band (strangely I saw them co-headline a show with MGB).

Although I know they often refer to "David Usher" as a solo project, I am getting pretty certain Moist is never getting back together. Which is too bad, what I wouldn't give to hear Tangerine and Ophelia live again.

Although I thought David Usher's stuff was okay, he's pretty much lost all the edge Moist had, his songs seem too radio friendly and poppy to me.

I love the song "Baby Skin Tattoo" by David Usher. It's not to be mistaken with "Baby Skin Tattoo" by Moist. They're completly different.

Anyway, here's the lyrics:

I am just the grey one I'm the darker side of you

And there's a place you left inside me

I hope it will amuse

And see this sign carved in my arm

Just means I'll hate you all forever

It's my babyskin tattoo

It's all the brand name that you've left

It's not so far

From me to you it's not so far

From me to you it's not so far

From me to you it's not so far

Circumcised myself because I knew you'd be too busy

And I saw the knife was dull

Just why the fuck do you think I'm crying

Styes caught in my eye

And it swells me 'til I'm numbing

But I'll leave it here to punish you

For leaving me so hard

It's not so far

From me to you it's not so far

From me to you it's not so far

From me to you it's not so far

I deliver I will receive

All the blessings from these things given

Tested longer held back only here

I am just the grey one I'm the darker side of you

And there's a space you left inside me

I hope it will amuse

And see this sign carved in my arm

Just means I'll hate you all forever

It's my babyskin tattoo

It's all the brand name that you've left me

And I beg borrow prostrate here

Under cover of everthing made dear

Fearing only, fearing only you
