this is probably a stupid question but in sort of a protest song he says "cause i was dimed." what does dimed mean?

If it's not about drugs or being wasted someway or another why would he use the term DIMED?? And just because he sings about it does not mean it is something that happened in his life.......

Dimed can also mean ratted out. Like "dropping a dime" on someone would mean turning them in. Not sure if it applies to the song though...

"dimed" means "out of it". which can be taken as "high" or "stoned" or even "tired" for that matter.

 

 

it's a coquitlam thing, i'm pretty sure... because i've lived in coquitlam for 12 years and i probably havent gone a week without hearing it at least once.
