Watched X-Men: First Class. I agree with Moonlight Graham's post...definitely the best X-Men movie yet. Michael Fassbender (Magneto) was awesome, and James McAvoy (Professor X) was good in his role as well. Highly recommended to any fan of action movies!

Hangover 2...horrible... saw it in the theatre and wanted every penny back that I spent on it plus my time plus interest.

Bridesmaids had it's funny moments. Not as great as people say it was. The ending was the best.

X-Men: First Class was awesome! I loved it so much.

 

Just finished watching Contagion. Not bad. A little too all over the place for me

Finally saw Drive. That was a surprisingly good movie.

 

It's amazing to see that the guy who was on that TV show about kids on a boat turned into a movie star.

Hey mans I agree it a good story and all but ya Pitt and Fatty McSuperbad were pretty average. Saws this motion picture couple weeks ago. 4/5 stars

 

War of the Worlds - Tom Cruise actually did pretty good acting-wise, great special f/x, lame ending - 3/5 stars

went into it, thinking, "well, it can be that bad, its got Denzel in it."

oh I was wrong

Denzel was great was expected

rest of the movie...not as much.

give it a solid 3

Just finished Fright Night. Pretty underwhelming movie. Sure didn't benefit from filming in 3-D, watching it on 2-D bluray and having shit flung at the camera constantly. Had two massive glaring plotholes in the movie;

how Peter Vincent knew where the main character lived, and how Colin Farrell got into Peter Vincent's penthouse without an invitation, yet the other vampire needed one before him

 

A 5/10, ho-hum remake

I really like War of the Worlds, and just remember to blame HG Wells for the ending, as he wrote the book. The one thing I dislike most about War of the Worlds is the Morgan Freeman narrating at the start and end. I find it totally unnecessary.

tired to watch 50/50....couldn't even finish that one....reminded me too much of myself.

 

example, main character gets diagnosed, sent to talk to a specialist who asks him, "how are you doing? how is life?" she told him to lay down and listen to her music.

 

wanted to return it.......but.....gonna do this 2 morrow. you see? i'm cool like that, replacing tomorrow with the hipper 2 morrow. 8-) is that what the cool kids do? exaplaing how what they did is cool? i'm just too cool to explain my ways.
