i sing all the time because i totally am the shit.... but i'm self-conscious and only do it when i cannot be heard. i wouldn't sing OVER the performer.

While listening to bootlegs, I love the sound of the crowd chiming in with it's voice, but at the same time, nothing annoys me more than the obnoxious fucks who sing loudly off-key, or in a drunken voice or just yells out the words.

i think the artist appreciates it. often they don't sing parts and lets the audience fill in the black. i don't really mind as long as don't try and sing a ghetto version of a slow song or something...

Nope. Since I find it incredibly annoying to have some obnoxious kid shouting the lyrics to Prime Time Deliverance di-rect-ly in-to my ear (recent experience), I wouldn't put someone else through that.

I'm somewhere in the middle so I didn't vote. I sing under my breathe, because I'm the shit. And I pay to hear the artist and for the most part hate it when they are overpowered by people in the crowd. Unless it's an approprite sing along.

I don't go to concerts, but I don't think I'd sing. I'm there to hear the performer sing, not the other way around.

I sing only when its appropriate. I mouth the words a lot of the time, if its a band i really like, but i dont actually sing out loud.

If I don't sing, you know it's a good thing, becuase that's when I am soooo into the band/artist, that I'm not even paying thinking of singing or anything else, I'll just be standing there trying hard to listen and not to miss any moment of it.

At the concert the other night, I pretty much just mouthed the words so I could hear Matt in all his greatness but sang when it was appropriate (ie. when everyone else was and I wouldn't bother people)
