most of his lyrics are ambiguous. i like it that way though.

it's obviously a relationship song. I always saw "sparkling spot" as meaning intrigue or general happiness. you know how people say they "felt a spark".

maybe you're listening to it wrong.

maybe it's;

"you're sparkling, spot hasn't caught on"

the one thing i've noticed about matt's writing and singing style is that he likes to combine sentences together to get that lyrical flow. he'd make a good rapper.

Sorry, but if you hear it that way, that line would make no sense what so ever.

Matt does have some ambiguous lines, but I'm pretty sure it's...

Your sparkling spot hasn't caught on yet....

No coma. And I've always thought it was someone's happy go lucky nature that he's referring to.

how so?

"you're sparkling. spot hasn't caught on"

maybe spot is a person. a person who doesn't realize that the person in question is sparkling.

open your mind, bitch.

And, you're the bitch, bitch.

you cant always trust the guy who types out the lyrics on a webpage, anyways.

He's talking about a girl. So I've always thought that its means she's sorta not 100% happy, and the "sparkling spot" is that 'thing' inside everyone that makes them joyful, outgoing, happy etc. Y'know, their inner-spirit.

Its like she hasn't come out of her shell yet, and the world has yet to see what a beautiful person she is because she keeps it inside. Maybe the guy sees how awesome she is, but she doesn
