opening acts

So...What all bands have opened for MG(B)? I find a lot of bands I like when they are opening acts for other bands I like. But, as I've never been to an MG concert, I've never seen(or probably even heard of) any of his opening acts. Thanks for the help. ;)

I think the Dears have, not sure though, as I've never seen MG live, just going by third-hand info.

I know MG put them on the site back when he was still doing Nation Of Cool. But, you're third hand infor is better than my fifteenth-hand info, so thanks.

somebody from here - i think it was Bloomflame - commented on a band who opened for Matt in one of the last concerts called "Pilate" (but I'm not sure 100%, I may be wrong)...

I know that The Dears did for sure, they are pretty good live. And if you want to get technical, Last year (on his B-day) Matt headlined the Grand Rock Music Festival here in Manitoba so everyone that played before him that day kinda opened for him.

Wil is amazing live, but my brothers fiance bought the CD and its just not the same. still good, but not great because the best part about him live is that he goes crazy! He also has a really cool voice.

That's weird actually... I don't actually hear ANYTHING about the opening acts MG has. Even in the reviews of concerts people just skip right to the "MG was amazing!" part of the review. Heh

I downloaded - from you, Matt ;) - Wil, Pilate and The Dears and definetely my favorite ones are Pilate... they must sound great live

That is quite a good number mercy

and why do you wish me bunnies?

Thanks

I wish you bunnies because they are cute and fluffy and make people smile. I use that as a kind of "yours truly" thing. ;)

Wishing you... well, you know,
