I think the song grows on you. As MG has said, the side project is more about making the kind of music he wants to make, not just the kind of music that sells albums.

i think we all need to keep in mind that this new band is NOT MGB or Matt Good solo.....its something completely different so we shouldnt expect another avalanche or beautiful midnight, but something new and exciting, which may or may not be music to everyone's ears. i hope we all don't start comparing this new song to matt's previous stuff, because you can't really do that. i personally love the new song, and i cant wait to hear more. the more i listen to it the more it grows on me.

yes, that's a good point. I just don't think it's that good. It's decent, worth listening to, but personally, i don't think it's great, but then again, he's doing it for himself, and that's good. I have something called the Shaylene ODonnell Coronary, and i do that for fun, so i know what he's getting at.

First of all, I would like to point out that Ryan Dahle and Matt Good's voices harmonize and blend so well together. Sounds very great, indeed. However, the song is quite different than what I expected. The Home video of him and ryan dahle was great, and the song was about what I expected. This song is not what I expected, but its decent considering they probably used a bunch of midi and protools. Its a DEMO. so i hold my final opinion till something else comes about of this that i can render as being final.

Ok, I gotta say that I'm a huge MG fan and I also like Ryan Dahle as well but I think this song is just a clusterfuck and it pretty much sucks. I dont like it at all!!!!! That being said, I think the other song (Bomb Factory or whatever it may be called)sounded fantastic.

If you're a huge fan of MG... I can't see you not liking this song... it's new and refreshing..... good vocals, lyrics, and instrumentation.

 

I dunno, I just think it's a refreshing tune.
