Vancouver Tour Youtube Videos

[umdesch4]

Meant to post this several hours ago, but the forums seemed to be down:

Sarnia - Dec 12, 2009

Weapon -

I think there's more coming too. I'll check and post again soon!

[kbernardp]

It would be really nice if we could get "Fought to Fight It" up here somewhere... Has that been recorded by ANYONE? We keep seeing repeats of the same songs he's been playing for fifteen years.

[umdesch4]

Good point. I have a huge text file here that I'm also maintaining in parallel (in case something ever happens to the playlist, and also as a handy reference) with all the links in it too, and a quick text search reveals that no, nobody has uploaded any video of Fought To Fight It. You would think that out of 163 videos there would be ONE, wouldn't you?

Ah well...

[johnerwin]

Nope.. probably the one song that isn't being played all that much.. which is fine by me

[finboy]

i'm also a little surprised at the lack of fought to fight it videos.

it is one of the standout tracks on vancouver and is a track that would get the audience involved quite a bit.

[umdesch4]

Some new stuff.

Toronto - Dec 13, 2009

Born Losers -

(well, 21 seconds of it, anyway...)

Calgary - Nov 18, 2009

Apparitions - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R-_bGheaZ_0

[kbernardp]

Wow, I wish someone would record Apparitions!

[Audio of Being]

The less I hear the songs Volcanoes, and Fought To Fight It I feel better.

[johnerwin]

Ya can we pllllease get some more videos of apparitions!! ..I feel like there just aren't that many out there right now

[umdesch4]

Well, I used the word "exhaustive" in my playlist description, so I feel compelled to add absolutely everything, no matter how pointless. This certainly qualifies:

Toronto - Dec 13, 2009

Strange Days -

Check it out when you've got, uh, 15 seconds to spare. ;)

After that, I felt the urge to re-watch this one from Halifax, 'cuz it's just too appropriate in context:

"Purchase decent electronic equipment, if only to appease me!"

[IamNick]

Does anyone have any videos of Stu playing?

[umdesch4]

Dunno, I'd have to go through the playlist to see if there's any specific bits, and alas, I've only barely had time to stay on top of checking the new stuff coming out (not that there's been much the last few days, but you know...) Speaking of which:

[umdesch4]

A couple new ones this morning:

Hamilton - Dec 17, 2009

Born Losers - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8YgatTWuQ8

Empty's Theme Park - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lgPdq_MqjNA

Still only 1 video from the second night at Massey Hall. Hopefully there's a bunch still to come from both of those shows.

[umdesch4]

Some pretty awesome new videos this evening, from the same user who got us those great shots from Kingston earlier:

Ottawa - Dec 11, 2009

Weapon - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vWdy8bIe3H8

Volcanoes - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xEptAqttAEo

Giant - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6_Wisv7OOYc

Apparitions - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ekX2ij8j07E

PS. Anyone else notice that youtube's search feature is getting more and more screwed up with each passing day. They introduced some new method of selecting filter/sort options last week that's pretty crap, but as of today, it's completely broken. Selecting upload date = today shows me stuff from 2 months ago. It's pretty lucky I even managed to find these, IMHO.

Another one of those "included for completeness" videos, if you know what I mean...

Hamilton - Dec 17, 2009

Load Me Up - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rEHXxwfK61g

...and there's still only ONE video from the second night at Massey Hall. What gives?

[uglyredhonda]

Anyone post MG playing fake empire yet?
