Oh, I wasn't trying to be an asshole about anything. Just emphasizing that I'm positive he says it, although maybe he just threw it in there and he doesn't say it in the album version. Yup, I was at that show (you can actually hear me singing along to Hello Time Bomb very very faintly if you got that too) and he was not saying we were fucking hilarious. He was actually really pissed off at the crowd. Something along the lines of "grow the fuck up you guys, seriously." Some guys were crowd surfing and moshing...to Can't Get Shot. Which is really stupid; and what happened was one fan was crowd surfing, and he got dropped and almost hit his head on the hard ground, which I guess worried and bothered Matt. I still don't think he should have done what he did, as it really bothered me that he'd swear at his fans, even if they were being stupid. But yeah, that's what happened.

Yup, Sean is spot on. The original is correct for Alert Status Red, and Flashdance is "you can sell the sad the world tonight (and they would take it, and they would ruin you)." If it's 'you can sail beside the world tonight' the 'and they would take it and they would ruin you' makes NO sense. Although it is entirely plausible that life on earth began from life on Mars. What I was trying to say was that people often ask the question 'how did life begin?' Answers include 'god made us', 'a lightning bolt hit a mound of amino acids and simple proteins creating a spark that made the first cell' and panspermia, which is fertilization from an asteroid or something. The problem is that all panspermia does is make us ask 'ok, so how did life begin on wherever the asteroid was from?' It doesn't actually explain anything.

The cheese is actually non-processed I think. I forget all the details, but one of their reps was telling me about it when I was doing a gig for them. The cheese is 100% real, but something they do to it, a way they prepare it or something gives it the distinct texture.

hahaha, fair enough. Any particular criticisms besides the really bad beat shifting within the first 10 or 20 seconds? I'm always open to improving my technique, so if you have any advice to offer, awesome.

I just found an old recording of me soloing on my dad's drums from about half a year ago. There are some really really bad spots, which I'm sure you can hear for yourself without me pointing them out, but around 1:30, there's some really cool stuff, and at exactly 1:34, I think the really cool little snare roll I do meshes PERFECTLY.
