2 questions Are you by any chance refering to the live in Chicago DVD? And, are you saying compared to the acoustic version of EL the full band version sucks, or compared to the album version the live full band version sucks?

I was bored tonight, doing some surfing and came across this. I think some of this stuff was up on one of his myspace pages at one point but for those of you who haven`t heard it before if you`re bored and want to see what Ian has been up to creatively (other than playing drums for other bands) since leaving MGB just go to the audio section. I guess he did a bit of stuff with Chris too, go figure.

Agreed. Personally I'm enjoying the character development this season (especially Syler's) but I think the writers are doing it at the expense of the story line. It's like watching Days of our Lives or some other soap opera which is making it kind of hard to take seriously when there's a plot twist at the end of like every second episode.

Doesn't really matter to me. If she had just moved here like 3 to 5 years ago, I might have a slight problem with it but in my books 30 years as a citizen in a country easily qualifies you to be a leader of a party. Besides, she moved here for a reason I would assume and to me people's ideas and policies are much more important than where they come from.

Yeah, I thought the same thing when I saw this for the first time too. Same thing for the drumming in that while I think Pat is fantastic drummer, for whatever reason he was "way" too reserved in the recording for the album version. Still a great song though either way.

Not sure about Itunes, but as to it being left off AOB from what I remember I think Matt once said he found the piano on the track to be somewhat flat or too lifeless or something. Definately a great song though; personally I always thought the piano fit the mood and lyrics of the song perfectly.

Nope, just the high end of the piano with some pedal. 2 things of note i should have mentioned last night though, 1- Obviously that's not me singing so CON if you don't mind feel free to credit Carl Vallieres with the vocals when you compile the track listing 2- on the topic of vocals my apologies to kbernardp, mr jones and strange days 3 for not getting back to you about the chance to record for the song after I asked if anyone might want to. At the time I didn't think I would be able to get who i needed to for the tracking so I thought here would obviously be the best place to come for a replacement. In the end though obviously things came together but I really do appreciate you 3 making the offer anyways ;)

Yup, but considering I just finished tonight I'm not complaining. Giant For the most part despite being happy with some parts and not so happy with others the track is what it is. Hope u guys enjoy.

I've got a slight problem. I've finished the instrumental tracking for Giant but am in a bit of a bind with the vocals. Originally I was planning (and still am going to try) to get my dad to lay them down but I'm beggining to doubt I'll be able to get him to do the full song in time seeing as he absolutley hates recording and doesn't know the song very well accept for the time that I got him to record the first verse a couple years ago when we first tried the whole tribute thing. Bascially I'm wondering if anyone with a "decent" voice would like to give a shot at trying to record the vocals themselves if I were to send the track to them online. If anyone's interested let me know.

Love is Hell is probably my favorite album from him; hell it's probably one of my favorite cds of all time. But really it depends on what you're looking for from the guy. He can switch from country rock, to folk rock, to alternative, to ballads or just striaght out country from album to album or song to song so you have to be ready to expect the unexpected with the guy and in that sense I agree with borntohula. I'm not sure what albums you have of his but, aside from Love is Hell, if you haven't picked up Cold Roses I would reccomend it as one of his best.

I had heard rumors about it but hadn't seen anything conclusive up until now.Chart Article- Edwin forms new band Me thinks this could be interesting. Worst comes to worst you've got to at least expect it will be better than the last 2 projects Turner and Edwin have done.

Opposition raises questions about Berniers ex-girlfriend's ties to Hells Angels When I first read this article I thought the issue was a waste of time. After thinking about it some more I still think its a waste of time. For those of you to lazy to read the article, apparently Bernier's ex girlfriend (who he was dating when he was sworn in as Minister of Foreign Affairs) at one time (not sure how long ago this was because it didn't say) had links to the Hell's Angels and Rockers biker gangs because she dated one of their members and was married to another. Basically the opposition is useing question period to try and make it look like a possible past security risk and ask if she ever had access to ministerial documents. The only credible reason I could see for the Bloc and the Liberals bringing something like this up is if they have actual proof of wrong doing that they're just sitting on for a little bit before they decide to release the info. If not in my opinion this could easily backfire on them. Just curious if anyone else has an opinion on the issue.
