Jack was pretty badass though, with his itty-bitty pistol.

The how and why certainly worked, it's the fact that it is an alternate universe that bothers me.

Loathed the film. It was as if the filmmakers were saying; "You remember spending hundreds of hours watching those Star Trek shows? Well, those don't matter anymore. This is what you're getting now." If the film wasn't named Star Trek and had different names for the characters/ships/aliens I would've thought that it was rad.

I'm leaving to go see it now, I'll post my thoughts when I return.

Chuck - It's On During House
Dan #3 replied to Crusader's topic in Rentals, Television, and Readables
I stopped watching the show about halfway through the second season because I couldn't deal with the bullshit "will they/won't they"drama between Chuck and Sarah. I know that one day they'll hook up and then break up and blah blah blah. I liked the first season because it was a geekfest with drama in the background, but now it's done a flip-flop. -
Claire was last seen by Locke, hanging out in Jacob's cabin with Christopher Sheppard (Season Four).

A dead Seelix, mind you.

I teared up a little when Adama I liked everything about the episode with the exception of the last twenty seconds, the I, for sure was expecting more main cast to die, The Chief

I would concur with the sentiment of Dollhouse's improvement. I knew it would because I've noticed that it sometimes takes Joss a while to iron out the bugs. As far as I'm concerned, the first season of Buffy was fucking awful through and through, but it got better after the season two opener.

I just got home from seeing this flick and I rather enjoyed it. Most entertaining movie I've seen in a long, long while. Rorschach is easily one of the Top Five Most Bad-Ass characters of all time.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, however a public display of fear of penis is funny.
-
Poor baby, was the penis in 3-D, all thrusting and pulsing?

Looks like the finale is going to be about Galactica going on a .

Adam Baldwin > All of the Baldwin Brothers. It's mathematical.

It's the same place, dude. Just a different direction.

There are only two cops shows that I like enough to say are good shows, Life is one and Flashpoint is the other.

The weird green wormhole thing that they fly through in the opening credits is the gas surrounding the Ragnar Anchorage munitions depot from the miniseries. Given the last episode, I totally think that "Daniel" is Starbuck's daddy and that she's actually a hybrid.

The Mutant Enemy logo at the end of the episode was the highlight for me, which I found rather disheartening. Mostly due to the lack of the patented Whedon dialogue. While this is certainly a more adult/mature show in tone compared to his previous work that doesn't mean there isn't room for the funny. I'm not saying that I want Echo to be implanted as a stand-up comic, just saying the wit should be more prevalent.

Not just any old chick, but the old chick that refused to sell Desmond the wedding ring, was in a picture with a monk when Desmond was at the monastery and also happens to be Daniel Faraday's mother. So far I'm enjoying season five more than any previous season.

I el-oh-el'd. Dee's suicide really surprised me, because I felt that the direction of her character was being used as a red herring as to who the final Cylon was and then BAM! she dead.
-
Do your own homework, motherfucker.
-
The "clues" weren't just about who was the Final Cylon, but about the mysteries altogether. You know, an excuse to have a viral campaign to promote the last ten episodes.
