  1. Although we appreciate your hard work 5ilent, it would be torture to wait any longer for this masterpiece. I'm glad I got ahold of it when GravityDave posted it, otherwise I would be going nuts right now trying to find it somewhere else. And your work isn't a waste. It's not like the unedited version of the show got put out there, just one rare new song. When your polished version of the complete show is out, I'll thankfully grab that too, but this unedited song is a great appetizer. Thanks, Dan
  2. Since when is 30-ish middle aged?? Ouch! And isn't Matt himself like 34 or something? Middle aged is when you hit your 50's or later. Sincerely, Miss 32 going on 33 =) MOG's is a term in the advertising industry that defines a demographic. So it is slang. And I didn't mean any offence. It just comes into talk since it is so widely used in my industry. And no, I personally wouldn't say early 30's is middle aged. I'd say 35-45 is middle aged, considering the average life span is 70-80 years. Dan
  3. 1)The War is Over 2)Load Me Up 3)Suburbia 4)Workers Sing a Song of Mass Production 5)Rico (I'll vote for the Underdog -> haha Pun) 6)21st Century Living (This rules live - Avalanche with the lights!!!) 7)Jenni
  4. are you for real?! well, since these other people aren't our spouses or friends...fuck'em why should someone whose waited an hour or more give up their spot to someone who waited 5 minutes? that's so assinine for you to even say. if you can't plan your day accordingly, it's not the other concert goers problem I should've seen this coming, since you 2 are Americans.... Anyways, let me rephrase myself...I went off on a tangent instead of focusing on the problem. Yes, those who wait in line to get good spots, shouldn't have to give up spots for people who didn't wait. The main reason for my bitching is the 'trees' who didn't wait, but proceed to the front and start blocking other people's views. At the Mod Club last year, we had 5 ogres that forced their way through the crowd and blocked our view. So sorry for the confusion. Dan
  5. I'm not saying tall people should move out of the way and give the prime spots to shorter people, I'm just saying have some courtesy to look around and see where the other 'trees' are. Not everyone has a whole afternoon to kill waiting in line. Some have jobs and other commitments. If you have the selfish mentality to say screw other people, then you're part of the reason there's so much hate & violence in the world. Not everyone is as blessed as you are to be so tall. I'm sure if you had a friend or spouse that was short, you wouldn't be such a dick.
  6. This one goes to all the tall people out there: In my personal opinion (and I'm 5'11"). I see why people bitch about the taller people. If you're taller than most around you, have the courtesy to stand more to the side of the stage or position yourself so you're in line with another 'ogre'. Get a good view, but try not to be a 'tree' in front of 20-30 rows of people behind you. The only thing worse is when a 'forest' happens and you have a whole line of 'ogres' blocking the view. Me I position myself right behind my girlfriend (5'6")and we position ourselves so we're around people our own height to limit the 'forest' effect. I'm all for first come, first serve, but it doesn't mean you can't look around and try to position yourself a bit better. I'm sure the 20 people around you would thank you for it. Thanks, Dan
  7. Weapon - Wanted to save space in case he played Giant (which he did) Apparitions (acoustic) - I had this from 2004, so no need to get it again. Thanks, Dan Larry has the vids on FTP now, so PM him.
  8. You need to rename the file. It's too long to play in QT. It worked fine after I renamed it. Thanks, Dan Anton is uploading the vids into the NF store also.
  9. XRTP, I thought you had it right, but then I realized that it can't be. Then I realized this is the setlist from Disorientation for the Montreal show (which is okay 'cause it's probably the best available). Anyways, this was the Avalanche 2003 tour and this setlist has a bunch of White Light songs. Isn't it weird that he would be playing these 6-12 months before WLRARR dropped? Thanks, Dan
  10. 1) Flip A Coin...coin goes to...NAFL...both good though 2) She
  11. Can someone get me these files that Dan upped? I have a server here with a 3 x T1's, and would be glad to host it. PM me, or e-mail me at "larry at dapasoft dot com" Larry, I'll email you the links for the files in 4 parts, but don't send these links to anyone else. It's exclusive for Matt Good, you and the people I attended with. Once you have them uploaded to your TX, feel free to share. For whoever else...Not sure what happened on your end with Giant/ASR, but it works fine here. Thanks, Dan
  12. Hey guys, I posted this in the Kicthener Ticket thread, but wanted to cover all bases. You can delete this post on the 21st. Is anyone from Toronto going to the Kitchener show. I want to go, but I don't drive. I would need a ride there from downtown and back to Keele/Eglinton or close enough to cab it. Please let me know [email protected] Thanks, Dan

  14. As promised - http://s51.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2LXFHS5...7H1AHBB9DF9NYJG 484 MB's good for 7 days or 25 uploads. I'm not uploading again, so whoever downloads this, have the courtesy to re-upload again later when this link is done. PattieC, Vance & Badseed - Don't download this, I'm emailing you a different link. I think people should send me some NF$ ;) Anyways, I also mentioned my fat hippie chick complaint: So we're enjoying the show from the third row centre, my friend was short, so we worked around the crowd to get a good view. This couple even switched places so he (tall) would be out of our way. So we're listening to Matt finish Avalanche and this fat blonde hippe chick with piercings and an ugly pink striped top, does this kamikaze jump through the crowd to get closer and ends up between me, my girlfriend and our friend. She has the nerve to sit there with her hair in my girlfriends face while we complain loudly about her. Not taking the hint, I tap her on the shoulder and tell her to move over (which thankfully she does). But then she has the nerve to start bitching to me. So I say to her, look I didn't wait in line for 2 hours so some fat chick can bud in front of us and wreck our view. Then she says haven't you been to a concert before. and I say yeah, but I haven't had to deal with some stupid fat bitch like you who thinks they can throw her weight around. So we keep bickering until Blue Skies starts and she shut her mouth after that. Then when the concert ends, she says faggot as she pushes past me. Great comeback considering I'm holding my girlfriend in front of me the whole concert and she saw us kissing many times. Honestly, if everyone in the world did what she did, there would be a riot at every concert. Sorry if I offended anyone, it is not my intention. I only want to offend the FHC. Thanks, Dan
  15. Okay I'm just uploading this into a ZIP file, but when I edit this post, it will include the link to the following separate files (when unzipped): - Prime Time(acoustic) - Tripoli (acoustic) - Near Fantastica - Load Me Up - Hello Time Bomb - Suburbia - The Rat Who Would Be King - Oh Be Joyful - Everything is Automatic - Avalanche - Blue Skies Over Bad Lands ENCORE - Crowd chanting Giant theme, into Giant, into Alert Status Red - Advertising on Police Cars (first 1:22 of song - ran out of space on my camera) I didn't record: - Weapon - Apparitions (acoustic) - I had this from last year's tour See you in a bit, Dan
  16. Update: Matt's still my #1, but Hedley is quickly climbing the ladder. I know a lot of you like to rip on Hedley, but if you've only heard "on my own", your opinion doesn't count. In my opinion "OMO" was label-inspired-mainstream-pop-crap and no other song on the album is anywhere near that low. Before you toss Hedley out to the street, listen to "villain", "johnny falls" and "sink or swim". Then I will value your opinion. In my opinion, Hedley has a similar draw that MG does. They both have unique voices, are from lower BC (abby & coq.), really broad range, great music, they're both in it for the music/fans (not money) and the first public TO Hedley show was a blast. Almost as if they had been around for 10+ years. If you're a big fan of MG, definitely check Hedley out. Dan
  17. Really??? I have a 512MB card in my 6.1MP camera and it lasts 50 minutes. I have vids from the phoenix, check that thread though. I'm posting them soon. Dan
  18. man some of you need to read this thread before you start asking questions... I have vids of everything except weapon, apparitions, and half of police cars...i'm uploading them now 484MB's...it'll take awhile. and someone already said they bootlegged the whole show...so quite wasting space and read the thread...anyways stand by and I should have the links for the vids up by the evening. Dan P.S. Goddamn fat hippie chick almost ruined the show...I think I got the best of her though...I'll explain when I post the vids) P.S.S. Check this picture out. All 3 IAC discs signed and the case too: http://share.shutterfly.com/action/welcome?sid=8QcOHLlo2bsTU
  19. I was hanging with Vance, how come I didn't meet u Saturnine? Maybe it was when he was still trying to buy tickets. That lucky bastard got a drumstick (his 2nd). Dan
  20. hands down the best concert I've been to. I have vids of all but weapon, apparitions acoustic (already have) and my camera cutout half way through police cars. I'll upload later. Matt will also have them on his website after I send to him. Met Matt after the show and he signed my 3 in a coma discs and the cover. K-I-C-K-A-S-S!!!
  21. Change of plans, I'm not sure what I'm gonna wear. But I'll have a red roots backpack and my girlfriend has red streaked hair. I'm Dan & she's Sylvia. We'll be in line around 4pm and I'll be asking those in line if they're Bored members (hopefully nice ones that let us cut in behind them). Cheers to the Bored owning the front row. See you there, Dan
  22. 1) Annabelle (Not really a big fan of OOTO and I like the raw feel of Annabelle) 2) Fated (But I agree with 2004 - Giant is better in my opinion) 3) I Miss New Wave 4) Last of the Ghetto Astronauts (Both good, but I love the flow of LOTGA) 5) I'm staying on the fence for this one (I like the regular version better, but the start in rooms (anger...passion...say hello) really captures the meaning of the song for me) 6) Rico (Another tough call, I had to listen to DL again to see...but Rico is just easier to listen and sing along to) 7) I'm on the fence again (Man you are making this too hard...had to listen to both again...the vocals in SFTG vs. the lyrics of GALW...can't decide) 8) House of Smoke and Mirrors (tough AGAIN!!! but HOSAM is better 'cause it's more meaningful) 9) Waiting For The Great Destruction Thanks, Dan
  23. I'm so gonna start the KICKASS chant for an encore at the Phoenix. The only time I've seen him play Giant as an encore was for the Mod Club in 2004. It was sweet, just like the song, the audience started to build it up and just as we reached our peak, Matt cranked the cherrleaders from the album and got right into it. Sweetest effing encore I've seen in my life. I'm gonna email him to ask if he can start with Giant at the Phoenix show. I'm gonna be from row with my Digi-cam taking some videos and I'll definately be taping just in case. Thanks, Dan
  24. Ya he was at Edge on Tuesday @ 3:30...I would've gone but I had a client meeting. My friend said he was rehearsing yesterday at the Cherry Wood Studios (or something) on Queen's Quay West.
