Absolutely, I saw it 3 times in theaters and have probably watched it 10 times since I bought it.

It wasn't bad...it just wasn't good, either.

I, too, cried the first time I saw Return of the King, when all of Minis Tirith bows to the hobbits.

I took no offense, I just didn't want to lose an intelligent member of the NF because you read this thread and thought that that was the normal run-of-things here (or is in any way encouraged or condoned), that's all.

I *like* Ayn Rand. But I would suggest reading the Fountainhead before reading Atlas Shrugged, 'case if you don't like the Fountainhead, you definitely won't like Atlas Shrugged. But I think that Atlas Shrugged is one of the best books ever written...it truly is a masterpiece.

Don't buy it from Maple Music, their shipping takes *FOREVER* and I've heard that a lot of people never even got what they had bought.

I like NF. I've been on a lot of the MG boards over the years, but most turn v. mean-spirited v. quickly. This is the only one that I've really hung around on for a while. (and having the wonderful NF store certainly hasn't hurt that)

Usually, if enough people ask (and it won't directly piss off MG), Crusader will put a song up in the NF store.

Just got back from seeing it. I liked it. I wasn't harboring too much hope after all of the bad stuff I've heard about it. It wasn't nearly as good as The Royal Tenenbaums, but, hell, how many movies are? Great cast, good music, amazing cinematography, funny dialogue, the only thing that seemed lacking for me was the story line(s).

In real life, the guy who plays Napoleon is pretty cute, but I wouldn't say that Napoleon was.

I've never seen it. If it comes out on DVD, I'll check it out, thought.

It really wouldn't be fair to judge all of NF based on this one thread, which a hand full of people decided to use to prove how big of assholes they are. And, I'm sure that once an administrator gets here, they will be dealt with.

Yeah, MG said that he wasn't going to finish it.

but then we'd have to deal with all of the drama and trauma of them breaking up again....I'm much happier with MG being solo.
