  1. Nope, alas...
  2. click for trailer I can't wait to see this. Not only am I a Daniel Day-Lewis/Rebecca Miller/Paul Dano/Catherine Keener fan, but the traier is amazing. What do you guys think?
  3. I have no strong desire to see it, but I might catch it on DVD.
  4. I loved it. I went in expecting a boxing movie (which it is in the sense that Shawshank Redemption is a prison movie) but was completely surprised.
  5. she was Amelie.
  6. Wow. that's a very good post. I'll have to think on it for a time....As for Being There, I think it is amazing, not perfect, but amazing still.
  7. it is v. fun.
  8. I've seen the trailer for that...it looks really good. I hope I get a chance to see it in theatres.
  9. I think it looks pretty fun: "5 People 1 will be BAD 4 will be FANTASTIC" teehee
  10. Tom Hanks is a great actor...I think he'll do v. well.
  11. Man Without A Face.
  12. Snow Crash is one of my favorite books. I must have read it thru over half a dozen times in 2 years.
  13. The Man Without A Past.
  14. Unless you're looking to break up with your girlfriend (boyfriend) then I wouldn't recommend it as a date movie...
  15. I guess I can see both arguments...people should just stand up and help, but most don't. So if they do, because they get a signed CD, or a concert, then I would think that that's better than nothing. Though, it would be great to live in a world where it wasn't necessary to give people something in order for them to help others...
  16. Jesus, I leave the computer to read a book for a time, and all hell breaks loose. I feel bad for MG, he's obviously not feeling good, and he goes online tot take his mind off of it and is 'attacked' (apparently). I say, it's his site, he can do (or not do) whatever he wants with it, how ever often he wants. And, I for one, happen to love his site.
  17. I've never heard that before...where did you obtain this information?
  18. I loved it. It would be in my top 10 of the year list, due primarily to the acting and direction. I thought that it really gave Clive Owen a chance to be seen by a lot of new people. And I also think that it was a very important role for Natalie Portman, as it is her first really 'grown-up' part.
  19. Toadman, how long have you been a Moderator? I never noticed before...
  20. I'll go with Blue Skies Over Bad Lands.
  21. I, almost always, consider singles the *worst* songs on any given album...
  22. I'm quite fond of their music...but, as people, they seem like bitches...
  23. Because their parents insist that Paul is dead...
  24. Never even heard of them...sorry.
  25. That song has been stuck in my head all day.
