i gave kmfdm (and mdfmk) a try a while back. didn't like them very much. mdfmk??? Hah, I guess since you didn't like them, you wouldn't get the reference... KMFDM have a song called "Sucks" in which they sing about how much they suck. One of the cool things about them.

Currently listening to Peeler - Half Past High. Some Indie band from Ontario, sounds kind of like what U2 would be if they went grunge, mainly because the guy sounds a lot like Bono. Not bad though. I was just listening to Broken Social Scene on the Hype Machine. I dunno, but I think they're pretty awesome. I guess it's just my kind of music. I'm also buying one of their albums this Saturday. It's a saturday-cd-shopping-spree. ;)

Frances did not? I was under the impression that they had to leave out the title track (which is great, by the way) because they ran out of space on the cd. I think they might've fit it in if they'd used less of the filler between tracks, which can get annoying. I usually skip through it anyway. How come they never use 80 minute cds for commercial releases? Really looking forward to hearing Amputechture, I'm getting it on Saturday.

I like Moist and David Usher. I was listening to him tonight, actually. And I agree, he is really good live, even better than the albums. I wish I had more Moist music though.

Spoon - Primary

Fuck yeah. You guys created this topic just for me, I know it. Spoon is awesome, my third favorite band. I'm only missing Girls Can Tell (belonged to the ex) and A Series of Sneaks, as well as bunch of EPs and singles. I think I enjoy Kill The Moonlight and the Love Ways EP most, followed closely by Gimme Fiction, then all the rest. I like how they have many different sounds, they can be catchy, they rocked in the beginning, and now they've mellowed out. Their music's always been fairly simple yet has a lot of depth, I love their guitars, and Britt Daniel has, in my opinion, one of the best male singing voices. Good lyrics, good writing, good sound, just good music. "I miss that way you hold yourself I miss that sense of wonder inside don't want to be your victim for life don't want your exclusive rights I just want you to change my life"
