I do? And it is? Top 5 disappointing days. 5. Today? 4. Or...yesterday. 3. Christmas when I was six. I remember saying "That's ALL?!"...I was a greedy kid. 2. One day this summer 1. I dunno, but I'm sure it was devastating.

Dammit Kirk, your avatar is turning me on! Stop that! That secretary chick is definitely hot (and slutty-looking), and... I actually have seen the movie The Secretary. -
Does Anyone Else Have An Insanley Boring Job?

And I had fun talking with you while you were at work. ;) I work for UPS, fixing all the retarded problems people have with their packages, some of which are caused by retarded delivery drivers. It's way too busy, but still manages to be boring. -
And all nice and warm and comfy. Christoffer, I thought you was young like us! 22...is that still considered young? Same age as me. Yep! You must've missed the computer-literacy boat or something...

The Mars Volta !
somnambulist replied to EvanofEdmonton's topic in Music In General: David Bowie Appreciation Station
:S Well, I love the new album more than the first two, at least. Some amazing songs on it, I can actually listen to the whole thing through every time without feeling the need to skip or search through anything. I love the melodies, percussion, and the even more latin flavor of the whole album. And the guitars remind me of both Page and Hendrix... amazing. I also really like the lyrics, they seem to stick in my mind more. I especially love: Vicarious Atonement, really great intro song, with awesome guitars and some really good, memorable lyrics. Tetragrammaton, I love the guitar melody starting at 1:11. Meccamputechture, perhaps the climax of the album, the bass groove, steady beat, cool drum (and guitar) solos, effects, everything about the percussion, and horn outro. Very nice. Asilos Magdalena, I was pleasantly shocked to find an acoustic guitar piece on a Mars Volta album. I also like that it's sung entirely in Spanish. Viscera Eyes, definitely my favorite on the album. The MySpace preview didn't do it justice. From the Radiohead-like electronics in the intro, to the steady guitar groove, latin sounds, and slowly building sound, awesome breakdown, guitar solo and ending, and some of their best lyrics to date. "Let me let comfort come drown by your side" "She's falling, she's still falling, no one wants to come, she's crawling, she's still crawling, on your burial ground" Day of the Baphomets, love the breakdown at 9:35 and awesome latin drum solo. Overall, a really great album that doesn't disappoint at all. In fact, it far surpassed my expectations. -

Wow, you have pretty twisted dreams.

Hahaha, that was awesome, except for the narrator guy's voice. But the well-timed placement of sound effects and sprites more than made up for it.

alex grey: the one who did that "wonder" painting. That's what I figured. Thanks.

Dudes, you can find some sweet stuff at Value Village...once in awhile. But sears? I think that was a sarcastic list... I have no list for now.

Matris reminds me of Tetris. There's a million lame jokes I could make, but I won't because they're lame. Kirk, you're better at this. -
5/10. A familiar face. Kirk...man. That was prime.

Best Live Song

another person who likes U2??! crazy!!!! everyone on here hates em with a passion. Uh, I like U2! Definitely David Usher - Black Black Heart. He's really good live. Eagles - 'Hotel California' Our Lady Peace - 'Not Enough and Naveed/Life', especially the latter. Amazing. I'm not even that into them anymore, and I'm still passionate about that song Radiohead - 'Sunday Bloody Sunday'. Damn good cover, and very emotionally moving. Wintersleep - 'Weighty Ghost'... well, it only exists live, but it's a great song. And while we're on Wintersleep, 'Caliber', 'How You Gonna Lie' (another live-only, at this point), 'Nerves Normal, Breath Normal' (gives me chills it's so good), 'Migration', 'Listen [Listen, Listen' (always beautiful in all its forms, and 'Archaeologist' (live only). What can I say, they're an amazing band. -

I was under the...uh, understanding, that the original Pony Boy was a B-Side from Underdogs or Beautiful Midnight, or one of those concert only songs, from the band days. Broken Social Scene - Almost Crimes -
It's really of no consequence. What is one terrorist leader dead when there are many more ready and willing to take his place? Bush is a fucking moron, because the "War on Terror" will never be won.

Or you know, you could just disconnect from the internet. That would be just as practical. zing! eight-fucking-eighty-eight-eight.
-
Indeed, it is pretty fucking awesome.
-
Only as a joke, otherwise, it's fucking retarded.
-
Wow, Chris, those are pretty amazing. ;) Anybody know who does the crazy stuff for Tool's albums?
-
5/10 Um...who is that? o.O OH MY LORD! please, send me to hell...please, please.....oh...um...not god....please! *shudders* I thought you already had one of those, Logan. ;)
