No offence, but big deal - most albums hit a wall at tracks 6 or 7. That's what separates them from being a great album. This is completely untrue, but if you really believe this you definitely need to raise your standards.

No" in Mexico last year, and intended to check more out when I got back, but I forgot who it was I was looking for and got caught up with school starting and whatnot. I'll give them What's the Story as a decent album (still overhyped, and as cliched as it might be to say this, it still has to be said - it's no Parklife), but I have to say I'm honestly surprised people still care about them by this point.

Radiohead. Flaming Lips second, Modest Mouse a distant third. Interpol, Fugazi, Xiu Xiu, and Sonic Youth are up there too. I really don't understand the choices offered. The White Stripes and the Strokes are the only other good bands up there - the others are either bands who, never that good to begin with, are long past their prime (U2, Oasis) or sucked hard all along (Coldplay and RHCP). Seriously, Oasis??

For starters, I recommend we stop using fossil fuels as soon as possible. Second, yes, it is more complicated and less efficient. Democracy is also more complicated and less efficient than a dictatorship. More democratic forms of government are frequently less efficient.
