I still don't see how "getting none of it back" means anything. You said it yourself, Alberta is net free. You don't need it. And it's not like the other provinces aren't doing what they can to pull their weight. Alberta just struck lucky geographically. Despite what a lot of Albertans like to admit, you're a part of a country. Not an island.

I'm glad Alberta's debt free. Now they can start pumping the provinces' funds into the rest of their country.

It's not like she's taking up a life someone else could be living. What's "living" is subjective. Anyway, the husband should be given last say, assuming the courts find him sincere in his care for her.

I would seriously doubt some group of kids could just walk into the clinic and ask for a recovery kit. I'm sure they'd have to fill out some forms, perhaps a blood test, etc. There's a screening process, obviously. God, I hope you're not one of those people who think condom machines in schools promote sex.

If she's in pain, I'd understand putting her down. But as it is, they can't confirm that she is, so "barely a life" is still a life and she should be allowed to live. Assuming her parents wish to keep her alive [and she doesn't have an opinion either way].

I think people need to stop applying black & white laws to things. Topics like this can't just be legal or illegal. Too many factors.
