edit: Arnold Lanni produced Finger Eleven in the past and put out some of their best work (in my opinion). He doesn't work with them any more. Hahaha! I feel the same way, I think it makes Finger Eleven look bad to have the same producer as Disturbed.

I believe they're getting the same guy to produce it. The record's pretty much done now and it will be released in early 2007. And OLP did start sucking when Chantal moved into the picture. I never thought about it that way before.

I bought a dvd player just so I could watch that. It was a good investment. I have a 30 second clip of one of the new songs they were working on (summer 2005) and it sounds ... listener friendly. James Black new solo stuff on the other hand is as eccentric and awesome as James himself

All their stuff is worth checking out, even the Rainbow Butt Monkeys "letters from chutney" is pretty good. But, this is coming from a girl who has a finger eleven tattoo so there is a slight bias. Gah, I can't wait for the new album! I would gladly force this band upon any and all who will allow me to. Let me know if you want any of their songs.

I've had a cold for over a week now and I am currently kind of high from a lovely mixture of Life brand cough syrup and Buckleys cough syrup. I may still feel like crap but I no longer care

I don't remember how I found out about it but I was pretty bummed about it. When I got AoB I couldn't listen to it. I'm just starting to get into it in the last two years or so but it's still hard for me to listen to.

Yeah I just heard about this. Terrible news, the guy had such a zest for life. I think I'm in a bit of shock now.

No you won't regret it. Any school like SAIT will leave you with a way better chance of getting a decent job when you graduate. Plus with the smaller class sizes you really get to know some of the people you go to school with instead of sitting in a psych lecture with 300 other people. As for housing I'd say look online in the renter's sites and calgary herald and calgary sun. It's really difficult to find a place to stay right now so it would be a good idea to start looking early. congrats and good luck!

That is amazing. I wish I was one of those lucky 20 people, the fact that I'm seeing TOOL tonight and tomorrow night doesn't even compare to what I'm missing out in Matt Good's living room.

I took my roommates to a stripclub last year because they had never been before. We all sat down on perv row and one of my roommates half passed out half fell asleep the whole night. The strippers during their routines would come over and tell us to wake him up so we wouldn't get kicked out. Such nice naked ladies.

I don't know what first residence is like for the rest of the world but at the U of Calgary we did not have kitchens and so I'll share some wisdom for living in ghetto residences: * Flip Flops are a must unless you want foot diseases or something. * There's a clear blue electric pot that you can buy from Walmart that cooks Kraft Dinner beautifully. It also cooks soup, eggs or just boils water for coffee etc.. When you are without a kitchen it is a lifesaver * Dish soap and a dish rag plus a set of dishes. Stealing dishes from the cafeteria also works. In fact, smuggle as much free shit from the cafeteria as you can get away with. I've lived off of free peanut butter packets before and so can you. * A nice thick foamy for the rubber covered jail bed. * Air fresheners * Decent computer speakers are essential to any good res party.

This is the most fucked up thing I've ever seen. Genpets.com I don't even know if it's real. My roommate works at a pet store and he found out about it through his company. Bio-engineered pets that are packaged up and sold at retail stores. I don't know if I want one or if I should start signing petitions to have them banned. Packaging an animal up in a dormant state and selling them on Walmart shelves sounds pretty cruel to me.

I get to see TOOL.......Twice! (Edmonton and Calgary) Edit: My best friend is a huge fan of Tool and between him and our other friend we have 3 tickets to the Calgary show and 9 tickets to the Edmonton show. Obsessed much?

i just about hit a bald eagle with my car once. It flew up in front of me and was pretty much on my windshield but I figured I might get in trouble for running over a bald eagle so I slammed on my brakes.
