  1. I am pretty excited to see what he comes up with for his newest project, "Southland Tales" with Sarah Michelle Gellar and Sean Thomas Scott, it's a Musical/comedy...hmmm talk amongst yourselves..
  2. A very entertaining film...though Shrek 2 is big competition come Oscar time... If you want to see a brilliant Anime go rent "The Triplets of Bellville"

  6. I thought this was the best film of 2003. 21 Grams is not the type of movie for those who are used to renting the latest popcorn "Hollywood Blockbuster Action Flick" where the great American hero saves the world from utter destruction in the end...this is a film about the hunam condition, it's real, intense drama, and the characters must adapt... The preformances from Penn, Watts and Del Torro are nothing short of amazing. If you are interested in another brilliant film from director Alejandro Gonzalez Inniaritu, go find "Amores Perros"(2001, Spanish), it stars Gael Garcia Bernal, from "The Mororcycle Diaries" and "Y Tu Mama Tambien." Cheers.
  7. Why has no one suggested Gus Van Sant's "Drugstore Cowboy"??? One of the best films of the 90's.
  8. Probably the best Directing debut since Sam Mendes "American Beauty."
  9. I was very impressed with this film, Cruise and Foxx were great wroking off each other... One thing that bothers me thoough is how Jamie Foxx can win Ctitic Awards and be nominated got a Golden Globe for his performance in this film as a "Supporting" Act?? He has more on screen time than Cruise does!? Just seems odd to me that an Actress such as Judie Dench can Win an Academy Award in a supporting role, for Shakespear in Love, when she was only on screen for 3 sequences...where do they draw the line?? something to think about I guess....
  10. Both are great tunes...

  13. 1)Eternal Sunshine 2)Garden State 3)Touching The Void
  14. I am quite interested in what Speilberg will do with The "War of the Worlds" remake, most remakes have been horrible attempts, though this is one man who can make it work!
  15. For sheer entertainment I had to vote for Indiana...All three films are classics.
  16. It was a good film, great camera work as usual in a Marty flick, great performance from Cate Blanchette...This film will be nominated for multiple Academy Awards, and will most likely give Sorcese his first win.
  17. The demos material, lyrically, is some of his best work...
  18. Dancing Invisible Heathers Like Sunday Hunting Rabbits Avalanche Symbolistic White Walls
  19. Dancing Invisible Fine Art of Falling Apart
  20. Seeing the Video for "Symbolistic White Walls" sealed it for me...not that the video was so stellar, but the voice and lyrics spoke to me...
  21. it's all great...though I have been more keen to his solo material in the past couple of years, even his early folk demos...lyrically brilliant!
  22. Hearing "The Rat Who Would Be King" live was a monumental experience for me, I have been to a many of MG shows and that was the frist time I think he had ever played it at a live event...
  23. Avalanche with AOB in a close second...
  24. The man is entitled to a vacation...
