  1. in my pants.
  2. i personally think that out of exile was a far better audioslave release than their debut. it sounded like a proper release, it wasn't chris cornell fronting rage any longer, they actually had become something. but no, it wasn't mind blowing. but i really didn't expect it to be, either. so maybe thats why i don't think it was dissapointing, but it surely hasn't seen much time in my CD player.
  3. hahaha this is a must-see. god bless that man. http://www.khaaan.com/
  4. too bad he didn't stick around in the trent reznor school of music a little while longer... he might've learned something.
  5. true, nothing's ever just black or white.
  6. foo fighters - "razor" nine inch nails - "beside you in time" beck - "missing" i'll list more later. those three stand out the most. add: BRMC - "ain't no easy way"
  7. right, it certainly is good... but nothing on it was new content aside from "oh be joyful!"... and it's not an album... like you've said, it's a package.
  8. IMO, i don't consider a "best of" compilation to be applicable in this catagory.
  9. yeah i can see that. i was more excited this year just because most of the mainstream acts i like such as the foos and QOTSA and NIN all put albums out, meaning that they'd go on tour.
  10. hello, i'm kind of bored so i made a list of the best/better albums that've been released so far this year. i'd like to see other people make their own lists or just suggest things that i should add to mine. (in no particular order) LCD Sound System - s/t Spoon - Gimme Fiction QOTSA - Lullabies to Paralyze Beck - Guero Foo Fighters - In Your Honor Nine Inch Nails - With Teeth Sufjan Stevens - Illinois Sons & Daughters - The Repulsion Box The Raveonettes - Pretty in Black Fant
  11. yeah i saw that interview too. it's on infinite repeat. i especially like the part where he talks about his future plans for his albums and starting to do what he wants to do. woot. bring it onnnnn.
  12. Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds - "The Curse of Millhaven"
  13. that would be hell. he's the manifestation of every persons' desire to be "on the cutting edge" and an exploitation of that same thing, due to all the reasons listed above. mainly the "you GOTTA HAVE THIS" attitude.
  14. i've heard 'precious' now, and it's pretty good. i'm not a huge fan of depeche mode though, so we'll see.
  15. some members are playing with dave ogilvie in jakalope.
  16. thats always good. i don't mind that.
  17. ok. although it's not really accessability im having problems with, because their songs are fairly straightforward. it's more along the lines of the fact that i can't really set them apart from any other band from that era. so whatever album has the best songwriting, instrumentation and all that jazz, is what i'm looking for...
  18. lol well said ;)
  19. it's a better starting point or just a better album?
  20. I'M PREGNANT!
  21. whoa saturnine, don't bring work home with you.
  22. i'd rather play the clitar. (picturred left)
