  1. i say they should be allowed, but i also think the world cup or any competition between countries is unecessary.
  2. im indifferent. there was a period of time where i liked them, now i could care less.
  3. i always appreciate your responses to my posts. i would agree with what others have said in that this isnt his best work but at the same time, you can always expect him to do something interesting that not many other people will do. if anything, i appreciate his music for the sincerity that comes with it.
  4. peeping tom is a sort of collaboration project helmed by the one and only mike patton, one of the hardest working men in music. essentially the upcoming release is patton's own diverse musical tastes all melded into the pop music format, ultimately creating a unique listenning experience. he collaborates with artists of varying styles such as rahzel, massive attack and norah jones. the latter choice seems to stand out and be quite strange, but ms. jones certainly travels outside of her own comfort zone in the song she's featurred on ("sucker"). anyway, if you're actually botherring to read this thread, check out the following songs: Kill the DJ Sucker if you like them, the album is due out may 30th.
  5. OMG like once i got drunk and then i threw up all over myself and i came home late and my mom got mad and i was all like "naw bitch" cuz im cool like that and then i listenned to some dave matthews and made out with some chix and hunnies whose names i dont remember and stole a car and flew to jupiter and then i ran out of alcohol so i like peed in my mouth but that didnt work but that didn't stop me from doing it some more until some dudes were all like "word" and i was all like "damn" and we fought and stuff but now we tight so we dropped some weed and smoked some acid and exposed ourselves to some kindergardeners yelling "touch it!" loudly and then the pigs came and fucked up how we were rollin. moral of the story: i can get drunk better than you can get drunk ego ego ego ego ego ego ego me and my friends are the roxorz
  6. sometimes what the characters do is so far fetched or just ridiculous, i cringe. but most of the time the show is pleasing. last night when izzy was begging that dude w/out a heart to let her "save" him, i really wanted to throw something at the television.
  7. i've tried listenning to the album but it kindof leaves me yawning. im not sure if anyone else found that or if i need to listen to it again. i certainly agree with what allmusic says, in that rick rubin seems to have the midas touch when it comes to making a record sound bland and generic (lately). which also explains my thoughts on audioslave's most recent work as well as everything related to system of a down.
  8. i use firefox and get little in the way of spyware anymore. i also use "ad-aware" to find spyware if i think i'm being subjected to it. works like a charm. also, the virus scanning software called "panda" or something works wonders when it comes to blocking spyware and viruses.
  9. 10/10 because its an avatar.
  10. dwight motherfucking yoakam. nah. i dont listen to country at all. excluding bands/people that fall under the genre "alt country" ... now that stuff is grand.
  11. yeah talk about being completely under the radar. when i went to go buy the new tool/pj albums, i was like "wtf???! new pilate?!" i will have to check it out.
  12. at the moment, i'd say that i like rosetta stoned the best. its hilarious and just damn good.
  13. hooray for the most dysfunctional band in canada!
  14. you're grey and have an anatomy, of course.
  15. the pot is an awesome song. i can't choose a favorite on the record at all though. i like them all, even the "filler". jambi stands out just because of how it starts off all badass. but the whole record is brill.
  16. you said it. i can't stop looking through the glasses though.
  17. i like it. i've only listenned to it once so far. it needs many more before i can wrap my brain around it.
  18. what can i say? i'm a dependable kind of guy. what's your favorite song from this new album?
  19. i said this in response to someone named "gossard" who said NIN were overrated. in retrospect, it doesnt sound as scathing as i had hoped. obviously i didnt care much for first impressions either.
  20. i downloaded it but everytime i make a thread about a band that not very many people seem to listen to, no one bothers to check it out. i havent given it many listens though, i'll be honest. not sure why. i liked what i heard though.
  21. that's what a lot of artists do man. lets compare maynard to damon albarn then. they both record what they sing into microphones of variable sizes. they dont like america too much. last time i checked, they both wear pants, unless you're talking about maynard while he was touring aenima... thats another story. also, why did you put the word norms in quotes?
