it seems to me that good music used to be more "in your face" so to speak. ie. 93-98-ish mainstream. but to say there isnt good music out there would be ignorant. theres piles of great bands out there, you just have to put in a little effort.

i dont know about the rest of you, but i like the new song. im looking forward to the cd. what you think?

if i recall, dave used a vox during the beautiful midnight tour. actually i have a really good article from canadian musician that talks about all the stuff they used, but im too lazy to go look for it at the moment.

rich was good but i dont see what all the fuss is about it. christian was alot more interesting and brought alot more to the table. he is a really interesting guitarist. on the other hand, i am quite excited about seeing him with the new line up. will be nice to hear the songs with some good harmonies. also it will be intersting to see how the songs change with ryans destinctivly (sp) style that is totally different from christians.

i would have to agree that they are very good. the fact that you cant understand what he says makes the vocals more of an instrument and not vocals. i think thats cool.

i had never seen them live before. i heard some songs that were pretty bad, but never live. god i hope i never witness anything like that again.

did anyone else see that travesty that was my chemical romance on conan obrian? i dont know if that singer hit one note. the guitar players were more worried about flailing around like idiots than they were about actually playing the things. plus the song was shit.

tom cochrane and red rider kicked some serious ass this summer with the winnipeg symphony. hawksley workman puts on a really great show as well.

being that he is in extremely creative and talented songwriter and artist, i cant see him ever packing up and calling it quits. as long as he has something to say im sure he'll be writing about it. and i cant ever see him being without words. im sure he will always be making music, weather he releases on a label or on his own.
