I always see them and think "Hey that's a great gift idea for my dad!" I then realize that it's not a great gift idea for my dad because my dad would never use it. It would be the kind of gift that everyone always gets and ends up sitting there unused for eternity.

I thought I saw was a few weeks ago but realized it was a fake owl used to scar away birds. It was funny because it was on top of a big sign, surrounded by real birds. CRAZY!

This man is a quote machine. So much so that I couldn't possibly pick one. It upsets me that a lot of these will eventually be lost to time. He can be a wordsmith of the highest order, but is rarely recognized as such. Actually, one quote that I use often went something like this: "...They can lick the worst part of my ass." I don't remember what this was referring to but I think it was from the blog a little while back.

Apocolypse now was pretty damn cool as far as adaptations go. But as for Jarhead, as I was watching the trailer I got more and more relieved that it didn't appear to be a non-anti-war movie. That had so many double negatives. Anyway, it looks quite good.

Yah Avalanche is really epic live. So is Blue Skies Over Bad Lands. The band is really good at anything from WLRRR and after, so those are usually quite rockin'.
