That's just your opinion, though. What if he truly believed that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, as the CIA and other intelligence agencies said? There's no doubt that Saddam wanted to attack the US, and probably wouldn't have hesitated to hand them over to some terrorist organisation. In that sense, it was justified. everything was a lie: everybody knew there were not WMD in Iraq, even CIA (in the comission they said they were not sure about that) and the rest of the international intelligences (the British one and the Spanish one have recognized that they were not sure either)... it may be my opinion but it is the opinion of many people based on many reports and studies... so it is not just my opinion, it is a fact

the fact that you are coming to Spain is also part of the dream? :-) I'm from Spain...

Floodland by the sisters of mercy -
I'm just saying that if that is true, there should be some quotations of people expressing that position against MG... i would send my name and my quote saying that what is written in that entry is not true, and i would be able to support it

I got exactly the same result: left/libertarian

how can you change an entry from a encyclopedia? I wouldnt know how to do it...

Prime time deliverance for me... another of my most favorite songs ever from MG

no idea on how to do that, but it should be changed or we should send an e-mail telling them that what they have written is not true

Do People Have The "right" To Commit A Crime?
juanpe replied to ecnarf's topic in Politics and Debate: WRONG!
of course the first reaction if a person is putting my famly or myself in harm's way would be to kill him/her... but no matter how much i would want to do it, i dont have the right to do the same that person did... i would be as a murderer as that person and, again, nobody has the right to kill other people (of course terrorists DONT have the right to kill other people, but I wouldnt have the right to do the same they do)... -
the fact that Iraqi people have elected a government in a "free" "democratic" way shouldnt hide the fact that the Iraqi invasion was an illegal one, that Bush was only pursuing economical profit and that he killed many many innocent people just because of his political and economical interests

Do People Have The "right" To Commit A Crime?
juanpe replied to ecnarf's topic in Politics and Debate: WRONG!
NOBODY has the right to kill anybody else, no matter what personal situation you may have involved with or no matter your political ideas may be... as simple as that -
Canada has become one of the very few countries in the world who has accepted gay marriages at the same level as heterosexual marriages in Europe only two countries (Belgium and Sweden) accept these kinda marriages... and in some months, probably June or July 2005, Spain will be doing the same: the lefty government in my country has already prepared a law which will be passed in the Parliament in the following weeks and will be effective before the summer which will allow gay marriages and adoption with the same rights than heterosexual marriages and adoptions I also feel proud of being a Spaniard for such decisions, decisions which worry about social demands and about all inviduals to be equal... one lil but very important step for equal human rights

yes, it is... but it is also true that there is a whole section related to politics and MG and politics... maybe this blog should be moved there...

no matter how much that closing may hurt some of us, I think we must respect what he did... he's got his reasons (very powerful, by the way) to have done what he did... and it really hurts me, specially because now i feel some sorta "lonely" without that blog, not being able to check his opinions, his music, anymore... but it's his decision and i feel we must respect it
