  1. He's not that good-looking anyways. Besides, no amount of faux-charm could possibly hide the big, gaping vacuum that is his skull.
  2. I believe the correct word is "dashing".
  3. I'll buy an Xbox 2 when all of you stop sucking so hard.
  4. His enormous wang.
  5. Actually, I'll likely punch Cruise in the face before any pleasantries occur, so you never know.
  6. I haven't been sick in a ridiculously long time, and I, too, am robust and manly about my choice (or lack thereof, as the case may be) of hand sanitizers and eating surfaces.
  7. Chretien once told the Pope that, because he was 15th of 17 kids (or something like that) if birth control had existed back in the day, he wouldn't have been born. If only, eh?
  8. Not necessarily. I am going to hell because I abducted a 13 year old girl and anally raped her with a hot poker.
  9. Woah... people are saying Whyte Avenue is good? Holy crap, kids, a few months ago the CBC aired a special about the insane drunkeness and crime and fights that go on there at night! And if it was on tv...
  10. You're damn right I do.
  11. I'm going to hell, too. But for other reasons.
  12. studies have shown that there is no correlation bectween brain size and intelligence. i understand what you're getting at though. and you're still wrong. Studies have shown disproving rhetorical devices with a blatantly obvious meaning has an inverse correlation with intelligence.
  13. Except for when it comes to the flat-chested chicks.
  14. Let's face it, 9/10 boobs are larger than the brain they belong to.
  15. Well, I was aware that women could become pregnant from rape anyways. It's a moot point. Actually, the government can do that. It did so back in the 50's, when abortions were legalized for situations where the mother's health was in danger. In the United States, a teenager can get a judge's permission to have an abortion where state laws require she get parental approval for the abortion. So, I guess this really only leaves the conclusion that you think that raped women, sexually abused girls and people in risk of dying from giving birth should be forced to carry the baby to term? In the big picture, the government doesn't regulate all that much about what we can do to our bodies (and you'll never guess what my opinion is about that, either). The fact is, if the government is allowed to regulate the behaviour of a pregnant woman... that's fascism, no two ways about it. And the comparison between suicide and abortion is a complete non sequitur. Realistically speaking, we are allowed to kill ourselves, we're just not allowed to get caught. And really, who gets caught trying to kill themselves? Darwin Award rejects, that's who. I think the laws against suicide are a mere formality. So, how exactly does abortion fit into that picture? The government doesn't exactly have a legitimate interest regulating what we can do with our lives (so long as it doesn't interfere with another person's right to do what they want with theirs). Should there be a law regulating what we eat 10-12 servings of fruits and vegetables every day? Should women be mass-tested every month to see if they're pregnant, and from that point put into large camps to ensure optimum health for the fetus? A bit of an extreme example, I'll admit, but where exactly do you draw the line? There's nothing contradictory about that. There's more than one reason to support abortion. Cases of rape / danger to the mother's health are just examples where abortions being illegal would be extremely cruel. As for the number of abortions, that's simply to show the extreme problem that would be facing the foster care system if abortions were legal. Now, not all of the children would end up in foster care, but I'd be willing to bet a considerable majority would. You know, in Venice, the Catholic Church set up these convents during the Renaissance for women to drop their unwanted children off anonymously, because otherwise the would just throw the babies into the canals after they were born. Funny how that works out, don't you think? If you make abortion illegal, it'll only bring back the day of performing abortions in the garage with wire coat hangers. However, I should apologize as well. The real figure is actually 40 million abortions in the States, not fifty. Don't know how I ended up typing in 50 million, but whatever.
  16. Makes sense to me.
  17. Flight Recorder from Viking 7 sounds kinda hot.
  18. Like probably isn't strong enough. The people on those boards praise the memories of people who "told the truth" about Jews.
  19. Moonlight, if the people want an abortion debate in the gomery report thread, then there will be an abortion debate in the gomery report thread! I suggest you move your gomery report discussion to a different thread.

    Ottawa?

  21. This morning, while driving into school (my dad driving, of course), we got stuck behind this moron driving a Ford Focus who must have been doing 25 km/h. And even though it had snowed earlier, it's not as though the road was covered in ice or particularly dangerous. I mean, simply driving that slow was far more dangerous that actually driving at the posted 50 km/h speed limit. What a moron. There are certain people that shouldn't be allowed to drive. And currently, those people include everyone but me.
  22. 1. did you even READ my last post? 2. please don't preach to me about whether or not men should be allowed to control the lives of women, about gender equality or any of that crap. -i'm a twenty four year old female -i'm old enough to have seen the results of legalized abortion within my own life and within my peer group -i'm on the "girl" side of the argument, and i'm actually a bit of a feminist -i come from a long line of rape victims. IN FACT: pregnant rape victims! my great great great (i believe it's three greats. i don't feel like doing the math to make sure. the point stays the same) grandmother was one of many native canadian sex slaves to a group of european immigrants. that means i am a product of rape. i agree that no one has the right to tell you what you can and cannot do with your own body, so let's let these children grow enough to answer the question of whether or not we can tear their bodies limb from limb. sometimes the right thing to do isn't easy. of those 50 million abortions how many are you telling me were products of rape? don't tell me abortion isn't used as a form of birth control. i know girls who's bodies will no longer make babies because of the number of abortions they've had. i know girls who have had abortions and have never regretted it. i know girls who have taken responsibility for thier actions and raised a baby when they were 17 years old. my favorite kid in the whole world was born when her mother was 18, in no romantic relationship and barely on speaking terms with the baby's father! if you have unprotected (or even protected) sex and get HIV what are your options? herpes, what are your options? you don't get to take some morning after pill, or have your HIV surgically removed. abortion may have been intended for "emergencies" but it is no longer regarded that way. how can you think of a baby as merely a part of a certain person's body? your name is adam, so i assume you're a dude. what happens if you knock up your girlfriend? its her choice what she wants to do with it? if she wants an abortion, that's okay, and if she wants to keep it and raise it and take you to court for child support that's okay too? when does a baby stop becoming an appendage of a woman? i think pro choice boys are less about "a woman's right to choose" and more about taking some pressure off of themselves. "oh, it's her body, it's not my responsibility until it comes out" and most of the time, even then, we'll see. also, please explain what this means:
  23. Wow, you make me sick. Women do get pregnant from rape, whether or not you want to believe it. Oh, and, may I add, where do you get off thinking that you, or even we as a society, should have the ability to make that decision for a woman? - i didn't say they DON'T get pregnant, i said that the percentage of women who become pregnant from rape is too small to justify legalizing it for everyone. "one of the most important reasons why a rape victim rarely gets pregnant, is psychic trauma. Every woman is aware that stress and emotional factors can alter her menstrual cycle. To get pregnant and stay pregnant, a woman
  24. I hate people who drive way below the speed limit. I especially hate people that drive below the speed limit so as to trap you behind a red light while they pass through. God, people are such bad drivers.
