  1. Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - Love Burns
  2. An excerpt from 50 Cent's new song, Candy Shop... "You're Gay, Yo're a Fag, I hate it when you try and Diss me Bring It, Come On You're trying to rap with 50. It's a whole different game being in the hip-hop scene Venni Vetti Vecci was good, but now you're just not mean I remember when I used to think you was sick Now i know what you are, just a small dick G-Unit got rap covered for many years I'll dice you up like that guy from the bible chopped his ears My gun is loaded with about enuff for your whole crew 1 shot kills u and the others die at the sight of you your mangled body lying in a heap on the floor Aint got anuff time to go say goodbye to your whore G-G-G- G Unit man we got the best Ashanti watch it, you'll be next... (Eminem) Ha Ha Ha It's Over for u assholes!" Any guesses on what category I voted for? This trash is marketed to kids. I work in inner-city Cleveland and all I hear day in and day out is this garbage being spewed from these kids mouths. The same kids who didn't know who Adolf Hitler was...
  3. I know the DJ's are corporate whores, but they won't be fired if they just mention that the Pixies influenced most of the bands that are played on the radio today. I firmly believe you will see less and less people liking anything but mainstream music in the years to come because of Corporate Conglomorates. People don't know what else is out there, and unless they research on their own, bands like the Pixies will become more and more obscure.
  4. Billy Idol - Eyes Without A Face
  5. I refuse to call it music piracy. I call it a free sample. Most of the music I download, I wouldn't buy the CD in the first place. These artists are lucky I'm even giving their music a chance. As for the music I download and like... I go out and buy the CD. So it's a win-win situation for all parties involved.
  6. Franz Ferdinand - Come On Home
  7. All I know is that one time I went to the panic button web site and listened to a demo. What crap. I mean jesus christ, somebody needs to take a lesson from Ashlee Simpson on how to sing. I imagine the Panic Button DVD is packed with all kinds of goodies, including: Scot masturbating to scat munch videos; His band getting their first gig at the Seymour Park Junior High Winter Dance; Scot's impersonation of his mother getting the bone from his father (Scot wears his mother's underwear and bra for this one!)- featuring Scot as his Mother and Larry the Queer as Scot's Father; Scot crying himself to sleep when the girl he adores ignores him at work. This DVD, with all these goodies and then some, sells for only $8 CDN. Hurry up and get one, because Scot's relatives are coming into town this weekend and might just buy the whole stock of them. By the way. does any one remember Vertical Horizon? I know Scot does...
  8. Ian McCulloch - She Sings(All My Life)
  9. MuchMusic USA is now Fuse? I don't know. I don't have MMUSA or Fuse because it's on premium cable. I only have the basic cable and have never personally watched any MMUSA programs. A friend of mine who moved out west a year ago or so had MMUSA and told me it sucked ass. I'll take his word for it.
  10. Alkaline Trio - Fuck You Aurora
  11. No, you shouldn't feel guilty. I see your point and see it valid. I constantly viewed the old MBlog, but never once posted any comments on his posts. I didn't get an invite... Probably because I never posted. I found the website earlier today and plan on visiting it like I did the old MBlog. I don't plan on giving the new address out to anybody. One thing I did notice is that if you do choose to post comments, you have to sign up through Blogger. This can be a very good thing as this service can eliminate any idiots that may pollute this new site.
  12. I heard something about that a while back, but nothing has come of it. I personally hate the Black Crowes and don't think anything good will come of a group with Chris Robinson as lead singer.
  13. Chandler... We did get MuchMusic here in that states from 1998-2001 on standard cable. It was basically one of the only channels that I would watch. Thankfully I was exposed to the Canadian music scene. I remember the day it went off the air here... I was in shock. Now, there is something called MuchMusic USA, but it is essentially a MTV copy, as only rap and popular music is played.
  14. DenneyMac, before you make yourself look even more ignorant (we'll ignore your spelling inadequacies), quit stirring up nationalistic controversy. You don't know anything about the people posting on this board except what they tell you, so don't assume anything about anyone.
  15. Blink 182 pre-dates all these bands by a few years. Like them or not, they have been around a while and have a distinct sound. It's not like they're the copycats. Good Charlotte on the other hand is possibly the worst "band" I have heard in quite some time. It must really suck to be in your late twenties/early thirties and make music that only appeals to young high school kids. What a bunch of crap GC is.
  16. Are your comments directed at me? If so, when did I vent my frustrations on anybody?
  17. Then could somebody give me a hint of how to find it? I assure you that I am not one of the assholes that ruined the old Mblog. That site was visited by me daily, sometimes several times a day, so I could pull articles to discuss with my US History and US Government classes. Nothing gets high school kids thinking like a point of view they never considered. I have an off day today and would love to come back to school tomorrow with a brand new article for my students. UPDATE @ 12:28 PM EST- Nevermind, I found the site. It took less than a minute to find it.
  18. I would be most greateful is somebody could pass along the new mblog address to me. My computer has gone through some serious issues over the past couple weeks and my bookmarks, cache, and history are all missing. It seems that somebody hijacked my ip address and hacked into my computer. If somebody could pass that address along, I thank you in advance.
  19. Amy Lee should put her talent on my dome and meatbag and sing a few chords
  20. Living in Cleveland, I was lucky enough to be exposed to MuchMusic for a couple of years. I know Much isn't the greatest source of Canadian Music, but I was exposed to MGB, Limblifter, Tragically Hip, Moist, Tea Party, and Econoline Crush. This music was never played on American radio or television. To this day, I still burn the entire MGB Collection and Limblifter for friends and co-workers who like rock but have never been exposed to the Canadian music scene. Guess what, High Acclaim! The Canadian Bands also seem to make very unique and original music videos.
