im intrigued by the character of Locke. He seems like such a nice guy and u pity him for his crappy life (his father using him for a kidney, his paralysis, his relationship w/ a girl on a phone that he pays for, not being able to go on the walkabout) but then the writer obviously are showing that he has an evil side. early in the 1st season they showed everyone getting a long w/ cheerful music, then they cut to Locke who has this evil look on his face and the music suddenly turns disturbing. And when he was teaching Walt to play backgammon, he shows him that there are 2 pieces - one light and one dark - a metaphor that probably relates to jack and him. I wonder where they are going to go with the jack/locke rivalry and if locke will eventually turn evil like lex in smallville.
