yesterday, i walked into the Obama 08 office in Fargo to get a button or a t-shirt, and they told me that a politician was going to be giving a speech there, so I hung around. long story short, I volunteered the go out and campaign for Obama in Fargo. Knocking on doors. AND they caught me on the news. yes, I am the tall black man at the back. nope, i kid, i kid,

same here. I'm not a fan of when they mispronounce a word, then a mystery person in the audience pronounces it correctly. meh. i'm not a fan of "celebrity" news, but I really like how TMZ doesn't hail celebrities, they bring them back down to "our level." Has me laughing.

whaaat? John McCain's running mate in the 2008 presidential election. The first woman Governor of Alaska, and the first woman Vice Presidential nomination on the Republican ticket. Palin's political views are highly conservative. A creationist, she opposes abortion even in the case of rape or incest, favors abstinence-only sex education, and does not believe humans are responsible for global warming. I know it's primarily Canadians on this BORED, but as a canadian living in the United States, I'm asking for some opinions. Personally, I can't believe it. The Republicans are hoping that the women who supported Hillary Clinton, will be so blind and stupid, that they will vote for Mccain because SHE is on the ticket. She is not qualified, before becoming governor of Alaska, shes was the mayor of a large town of 8,000 people. I AM FROM A TOWN OF 8,000 people originally, The Pas, Manitoba. From personal experience, I can't think of a single person from that town I feel would be accomplished enough to be second in command of the world's most powerful person. How is SHE accomplished for that position I imagine GOP private meetings where they figure Mccain's really old, and if he goes to sleep and doesn't wake up, HEY! we've elected the first female President! ugh, this is why I don't watch the news anymore. Now the republicans can't run commercials claiming that Barack Obama is not globally known.
