Have You Ever Considered A Career In The Military?
sodamntired replied to ecnarf's topic in Politics and Debate: WRONG!
i am currently living in the states...came down for college and have been here since...but i grew up in Canada. anyway, I considered joining the military because the pay is great and they make sure you're life has goals and you have something to do. but after talking with my dad, who is a vietnam era veteran who had his ID stolen from the laptop that that guy from the VFW lost. (remember that?) he told me that my medical problems would prevent me from being accepted. so that's my boring story. -
i called back a phone number i missed once turned out it was my grandmother but a better wrong number I have happend many years ago. My sister said, "Chris, phone." I ran and answered it. cute girl on the other end. "hey Chris. How's it going?" "uh...its going alright" i didn't recognize her voice. "you don't remember me?" "um...no?" "Its Sarah from Calgary!!" "uh...i think you have the wrong number...." "oh my god, you're right! bye" and thats that story

Oasis - Stand By Me most underrated song by them, imo. -
have I slipped into????? I was in Mcdonald's yesterday, ordering a healthy meal, and the female cashier asked a male friend of hers, who had a new haircut "what's with all these people I've seen with their new blonde EMO haircuts?" I have posted this question before, but I'm going to ask it again When did Emo become popular?????? and is it the genre of music that history is going to look back on as being the definitive music style of 2000 - 2010???? cause I'd hate to see that. *trips off of soapbox*

some pretty awesome and hillarious Audio that I recorded with a Radio Class 3 or 4 years ago MSMBC Live In Iraq You'd think it'd be dated but its still funny, if not funnier than it was....especially the Al-Jazeera Sweeps Period and the Entertainment Tonight Live From Iraq (I made that one) -
Greatest Song Ever
sodamntired replied to sodamntired's topic in Music In General: David Bowie Appreciation Station
thats a great one. i need to go with Refused - New Noise If you haven't heard it, look for it. Its a song that has it all. But I also need to say Johnny Cash - Boy Named Sue -
will ferrel can get to be in some roles where i imagine he considers everything he does to be comedy gold i mean, yes, he's a funny guy, but sometimes, especially in anchorman, i wish i could just tell him to take it back a little bit.

What do you feel is the greatest recorded song ever? I expect a lot of Imagines and What A Wonderful Worlds, but I want you to be completely and unabashedly honest. What do you think is the greatest song? Let's hear them.

thank you, thank you...i please to aim. aim to please. same thing.

there is such a thing as "Too Much Will Ferrel" in my opinion, like Anchorman. this one it looks like he holds back so it should be pretty funny.

Should The Bring Back Futurama?
sodamntired replied to ryanolmstead's topic in Rentals, Television, and Readables
i feel that they should have never brought Family Guy back. yes, the first 3 seasons were brilliant. they were hillarious and new. but since its come back, i honestly can think of a single stand out episode. really, while I watch the episode, I'm laughing here and there, but as soon as its over, i completely forget what the episode was about. and futurama was great...because it stood on its own and didn't need topical humor. I remember I really enjoyed it when new episodes were on and then one sunday, it was over. I grew complexed. I try and catch them on Cartoon Network whenever I can. -
*BUMP* this show was brilliant. the funniest off beat humor I have seen since the glory days of Kids In The Hall but great original programming has to end. that's the law of the television universe here's an example of the brilliance (christopher walken prank call) funnier than anything on Crank Yankers as I see it.
