i miss the innocence of youth when i didn't care about a lot of the things i worry about now.

this thread is for the posting of things that you miss. be it personally, entertainment wise, or philisophically. whatever it is, post what you miss in your life. i'll start with... I miss watching MuchWest on sunday nights. I loved watching reports on music from the Ontario/Manitoba border west. I loved the specials they would do on MGB. so continue...what do you miss?

i would tend to agree, but its Michel Gondry and in my opinion, he can do no wrong.

back when i was really really REALLY stupid and i did consider suicide, I Miss New Wave was going to be my last song...I was just going to have it on repeat...so people that found me would be like, "wow, he had a connection to this song..." just the last line of "at least i got one...thing...right..." and not a day goes by am i not glad i didn't do anything as STUPID as what I wanted to do, because the way I see it, everything I knew then, I know so much more now. so kids, remember, suicide is never the answer.

If i make a new friend or new girlfriend, i have this tendency to immediately introduce them to my current friends, as kind of a way of saying, "hey, i can make other friends so appreciate me dammit!!!" its sad really, and i'm sure its annoying.

cause i've got something you might be interested in i spent 6+ hours ripping the audio from their live dvd, "Under Blackpool Lights," and I created a kind of bootleg album. I have been told by a few people that it is their best album...that is, a live album they never released. oh yeah, they did not do Fell In Love With A Girl at that concert. but here is a couple samples of how my ripping experiment turned out. ah, yes, all of 2 years ago...when i was 19/20 i remember when i took that photo...it was right after we had just completed a, believe it or not, 4 hour makeout session. that was fun, haven't had one of those in a while. and yes, i kind of see the resemblence in the smile/lips and cheeks.

this is an ancient bump, but i felt the need to bring it back. remember the conversation about the actress that played Topenga on Boy Meets World??? and I mentioned that my ex looked like her? hmmmm? well i found a pic, so you can see what i was talking about. first, Danielle Fishele (topenga) than an old one of me and my ex (her name is Krissy, if you see her, run away...fast) oh, and i have net access in my bedroom now, btw, so that's why i felt the need to drudge this up from the past.

Oz 1st Season Chapelle Show 2nd Season The Oblongs complete series the first season of Rescue Me i used to have a lot of really good ones, but sadly, i had to sell them for cash... these included: first season of the show Popular 69' Series of the original Spiderman cartoon (that is so awesome, i highly recommend it. its cheesy, but kind of cool.) i'm sure i have/had others, but can't think right now

freshman year of college, i found out on a MGB fansite. it was a great fansite, i forget which one. if anyone knows, its the one that got in trouble for posting tracklistings of Avalanche before it was released.

i was in my dorm room, freshman year of college, watching Win Ben Stein's Money on Comedy Central when my friend knocked on my door and told me to turn to cnn. i turned there and saw the footage of the second plane hitting. i let out a gasp. my friend told me not to laugh. i said i wasn't laughing, i'm just shocked. the rest of the day was kind of a blur. does anyhone else realize that this is something we will be telling our children/grandchildren that we saw?
