Yes it does! Just don't cheap out and pick uber carpool!!! It's soooo slow. Pay the full fare and ride yourself. Otherwise you will definitely be late and definitely regret it.

Got my VIP email for Toronto (March 11) today. Says to be there 3:30. I will probably arrive at 2:30 just in case lol.

Yeah. Montreal VIP for CN was only like 12/13ish of us? Amazing experience and very intimate, compared to the like 30/40 in Toronto? However, understandably so I'm sure that's probably why the Corona Theatre/Montreal was not included in the VIP options this time round. Great for the fans, but not great for the bank. I would personally be willing to shell out more dough for a more exclusive experience, but I'm not really complaining about this package either. (Although now I'm paranoid about not being there for the correct time!!)

Yes, and Rockfest in Montebello is looking pretty decent too. I think the only thing at Bluesfest I'll for sure get a ticket for myself is Sam Roberts, I haven't seen him in a couple years now. Everything else I'll hold out and see if my client with special needs wants to go again this year because then I don't have to pay, we chill in VIP (the accessible section is now the same as the VIP section) and I'd get paid to go haha. Hard life for me, right? :P

Same. I never hesitate (anymore) when it comes to MG shows, but for some reason I always would with other artists saying "oh, I'll go next time" or whatever. Not this year. 2017 I'm saying yes to every concert I want (within reason, so like mostly in or nearby Ottawa.) #yolo

I liked London's venue as well. And imo if it's down to the two, go with the general admission for sure.

Yeah no. Guys. That's a venue thing definitely. Last year at the Danforth I had my phone out to record when Holly and Matt were doing Cloudbusting together. A security guard came over an told me to the put the phone away. And I was very confused. Because I've never had a problem taking video or anything (and keep in mind, this is a phone, not professional equipment even). The guard was hasselling me, and since I was right at the front Matt saw it happening and waved the guy off with a very "what-the-hell-are-you-doing" expression on his face. The guard backed off, but then another came like 10 sec later. And Matt intervened again saying it was fine. This goes back to the security discussion in the other thread. I feel like some guards just feel the need to overly assert their "authority", put on the muscle and get cocky. Some security guys are great. I've had great experiences with some guards helping me with stuff, keeping me safe, passing me setlists once they kicked everybody out. However I have also encountered my share of douches.

Scott Helman's playing a free concert at Winterlude tonight! It's actually pretty warm too, should be nice! (Though, the ice sculptures might have all melted from the warm weather)

I just wanted to chime in, I've had nothing but positive experiences with all MG crew and staff (Jillian, James, Sean, George, Dave, (throwback to) Lance and also another guy who (apologies) I always forget his name. It's only been in the last 4 years that I've interacted with staff and crew really, but I've always been glad when I have. Everyone is great. Venue security and staff I have seen been shitty though. Or overly macho. Maybe it just comes with the security/muscle territory. But hey, they've got a job to do I guess. I'm glad for you and your family that no cancer was found. I wish your wife a speedy recovery! Lastly, one thing I've *always* admired is how true you've sounded live. Not to say that songs are played exactly as they are on the record. That's not it. But that it's really you singing, both on the records and live. Your voice and artistry don't get lost in production, and you're selling us something real. Which nowadays is harder to come by. You, Stu and Blake really bring the magic. I'm very excited to get to see it all in action again. The chemistry. All the little nuances (Stu's signature sway, the intense open mouthed Blake face, and the kind of back step, sideways up glance you do on guitar parts). I'm also excited to get to see Peter thrown in the mix. All to say, I'm very excited. Counting the days till March 11th! (and 16th. and 18th)
