Bought a floor ticket to Arcade Fire at CTC. Pretty stoked on that. They did a concert at my high school (Canterbury) when I was in grade 10 or 11, and I remember I didn't go because I thought 25$ was too expensive (present day Emma is kicking throwback Emma; my how my perspective has changed...)

FYI there are tickets on groupon for MG/Midnight Oil Toronto. 30$ for upper bowl.

I wanted to see Midnight Oil when they released their first round of Canadian dates, but this is way better.

There's a free show in Niagara Falls August 25th! Scotiabank convention centre. (Technically "off-topic" as it does not pertain to the BC show, but maybe this could be a summer show's thread instead? As it appears more shows will be rolling out??)

I mean, I'm not saying I wouldn't go to this. I would. But I'm much more excited for new stuff. Beautiful Midnight was different. It held a lot of importance for me personally, was my first MG album, was pretty much my musical awakening when I was quite young etc etc. So I was super stoked for that.

The only pain about Ottawa is it's not General Admission. Although I wonder if maybe Ottawa could ever be two nights at Algonquin Commons (which has both GA and seats) instead of one night at the NAC. Although the acoustics of the NAC are amazing. Next time I'm not going to both with getting front row there I think and just get some balcony seats instead. Never been up there.

So I loved the Prozzäk concert. It was a really good time, Jon sounded pretty good to me. I was blown away by the openers though!!! K.I.D were awesome. Never heard of them before, but immediately bought their EP when I got home. Can't wait to hear more from them!!
